So Datto soloed the nightfall
It took him nearly an hour to solo and he had several close calls.
Paraphrasing, he said don't do this to yourself, this is torture, etc etc.
He got no land beyond as a reward.
To quote tumblr "hELP I AM CRY!"
Edit: let me clarify some stuff. I am not promoting Datto's YouTube or twitch channels. I am merely saying that, as a somewhat famous Destiny player, it was more hilarious when he did his nightfall solo run and got NLB. I'm not saying he's the best, several comments are proving that. But whether it was easy or hard, solo or with a group, the reward he got was hilariously sad.

Soloed it last night on my 2nd character and got 'The Chance'. I would have been excited about getting it a week ago but since I got WoC, I doubt I'll use the Chance. NF was actually quite fun (tense at the same time) with all the burns on.

It took Datto longer to complete the nightfall solo cause he doesn't use a primary with elemental damage. He does this because everyone may not have a primary with elemental damage on it. This gives people who have vanguard, faction or crucible weapons as a primary an idea on how to approach the challenge.

1 Replyi also solo`d it. took me two tries, first time omnigul was like 2 hits away from dying and then a wizard went on the bottom and nuked me to death, second time i did it with ease because i kind of knew the witches attacking mechanics, also took about an hour each run, but 2nd time was faster

Fun fact: When Datto does the nightfalls, he doesn't use primary weapons with elemental damage types (in case people watching don't have guns like those, they could get an idea of how to solo it.) He probably could have done it much faster with less issues had he done it using his primary elemental guns. Keep posting guys and play nice.
