IMHO I think Hunter because we have no defensive class, no 1 hit kill melee.
Next is Titan because their offensive super has no range
Last is Warlock because they can self res, but they do have the worst jump.
BEFORE YOU COMMENT READ THIS: I don't want to start a debate I just want to see what other people think. If you don't like my choices then keep it to yourself PLZ.
Edit 1: This caused more hate than I intended but I like it :)... Stay strong PvE Hunters!
Edit 2: LOL don't bother if you have 3 characters of the same class.
Edit 3: This was more based towards PvE, so don't say anything about PvP.

Edited by mr sweaty hands: 1/28/2015 6:10:33 PMI don't think anyone who doesn't have/had all 3 characters should have a valid answer In my opinion Hunters and Titans are the easiest to use. Warlocks are the hardest, and I hate the Warlock. Yea they have self res, but they're the slowest character to play with and I'm all about fast pace. I mean, really, how are hunters hard to use? "No defense subclass" yet blade dancer can give you invisibility for so long. My main class is a hunter
-
I'm a primary warlock but the hunter takes most skill due to no defense class
-
Of course the huntards can't just vote to be equal
-
Glad to see that everyone has the same views as me warlocks take no skill titans are badasses and hunters take the most skill
-
1 ReplyTo avoid bias, I just voted all, but my thoughts are against those who chose hunter. They have the best supers for PvP, and concerning instakill melees, titans are the only ones to blame. That shoulder charge is a bitch. True that warlock scortch is instakill while using active radiance, but then bladedancer melee is the same during super, but way more OP.
-
All take zero skill, but Hunter takes the least. I may have 3 warlocks, but deleted a 27 Hunter and 27 Titan. Hunter was by far the easiest for me in PvP. Held a 2.3 K/D without even trying.
-
All. Classes are pretty equal. It really comes down to which you feel most comfortable with. My best character is a titan, but I have all 3 classes. I base most of my opinions on pvp because everyone should be able to play all 3 classes to an passable lvl no matter what. Titan defender comes most natural to me. Holding down zones and acting as a mini base/distraction for my teammates to use. I also feel most at home with how a Titan feels. Probably cuz he most resembles how Spartans move. Hunters are second easiest to me. They feel pretty basic and all I really had to get use to was the way their supers take a second to actually activate. Warlocks are my least favorite because of the way they have a "floaty" feeling to the way they move. Once I unlocked the speed boost jump and learned how to triple tap the jump button warlocks became a lot easier for me to control.

Edited by Yorginshnitsel: 1/28/2015 4:36:36 PMYou can always expect metric fuq-tons of hunters to flock to these posts

Surprise surprise, warlocks don't have a one hit melee either.
-
1 ReplyWHY WONT YOU DICKS BELIEVE WARLOCKS DONT HAVE ONE HIT MELEE
-
I have all three classes and voted hunter! Even dismantled raid gear on my titan for shards to get a 32 hunter and deleted my old warlock for another hunter to help me get the gear! I haven't really worked on my second warlock cause the class just sucks so much
-
I think this one is rather obvious
-
Here is the thing. I take to the warlock with ease, it's my play style. Shoot my way in, toss grenades, land in a pack, melee my way out. Fits me like a glove, does it mean I'm not skilled because it's my playstyle. NO It just means it takes more skill to be able to play all three. No one class takes more skill. It all comes down to an individual's playstyle.
-
This whole which class is better/harder to play is silly. Each class fits a different play style, if you suck at a certain play style you will think certain classes are over/underpowered. If u cant get close and personal without dying then even the titan is gonna feel week. Play all three classes and find the one that fits YOUR PLAYSTYLE the best.

12 RepliesOh silly hunters. Warlock doesn't have a OhK melee either.
-
Edited by monkyken: 1/28/2015 4:00:30 PMI'm not a fan of hunters Altho I use one sometimes but I would say they require more skill from a super perspective as you need to move/aim appropriately otherwise in general I think the real skill of the game is moving aiming and owning your gun.
-
Depends on how skilled you are at picking the right class
-
I have all 3. Each have their pros and cons, if I play one character for a while then switch over, end up falling to my death or face planting a cliff or rock, or trying to melee an enemy from a couple of meters away (thinking I'm playing as a warlock).
-
12 RepliesEdited by pyro: 1/28/2015 2:26:15 PMhunter doesn't take skill. it feels like it takes skill. after playing a warlock and titan I tried a hunter and did great at it with very little skill required. its easy to cross map a vandal with a knife, not easy to get near one with a titan punch on arc burn.
-
Fist of havoc, shoulder charge . You can survive my golden gun with the juggernaut shield and while panic fisting . That is all . The gunslinger takes the most skill hands down. Followed by sunsinger . This is referring to pvp.
-
Hunter's are ridiculously strong offensively. No defense. People only look at the offensive power and judge them "OP".
-
Before I start, I have 1 of each at L31 - I think both the titan and the warlock give an easier early game experience i.e. their buffs require less skill to use . However as we move into the endgame, suddenly the tactical requirements of the Warlocks and Titans come into play more, i.e. when to save a self res, where when to pop up a titan bubble. Hunters require more skill to get the most out of their buffs early on, but in end game most of the buffs become less relevant - invisibilty can be crucial - but blade dancer super is mostly suicidal in raids and nightfalls and golden gun is only good for adds and mid level enemies. In summary, they all take different skill, but no one is easier/harder than the others. Incidentally , just ran the nightfalll with a fireteam of 3 diff characters, it was really cool seeing how well they worked together. Titan bubble for protection - Hunter for invisible res-ing and checking enemy positions - Warlock for self-res nighfall insurance policy and crowd control grenades. - Worked really well, almost as if it was planned this way :-)
-
I think hunters have a higher skill cap. It's not hard to play a hunter, it is hard to be good as one. I mean just look at the trip mine. It can wreck, or just sit there harmlessly if you threw it bad.
-
They all have there flaws. I think there equal
-
I don't believe any of them take more skill that the other. They each require a different touch depending on the situation. Hunters do have a defensive and possibly one of the best(situational as I said) defensive set ups in a lot more situations, except for the self rez possibly. Setting up the blade dancer spec appropriately with stealth makes you amazingly elusive and defensive. Not in the amount of damage you can take but in the fact of what you can do while invisible. Yes everyone wants to hack and slash in the BD spec but for pve its not meant to. That being said the situational set up of each class comes into play. Yes the herp derp feeling of just popping a bubble on a titan seems skill less but a well placed bubble can effectively let you lay waste to things from behind it while not even having the slightest fear of being touched. From a warlock side (mine is little and only going off of witnessed exp) raining grenades or void space magic can accomplish much of what a titan and hunter can not do. Clearing mass waves of baddies safely and efficiently all the while being able to save your team from being kicked to orbit in a night fall... I would say very clutch even tho its just activating your super. TLDR: they all take skill and shine in different spots. All have problems in the specs to overcome and deal with that others don't.

6 RepliesPvE is Hunters. We really don't have a good panic attack or get out of jail free card. Bladedancer in PvE is pretty lame. Golden Gun is good but even 3 shots won't down an ultra most times. We have to play a bit more conservative as we are a bit squishy.
