Now that I've got Nechrochasm... why is this gun an exotic? *EDIT2* House Of Wolves Raid Exotic Final Form pic!!
Honestly though, there is nothing special about it... nothing. You're wasting an exotic slot on a mediocre auto rifle, all you get it is a few firefly-ish explosions with an surprisingly unimpressive blast radius.
Just wanted to let you know you're not missing much, sadly. Hopefully you can try it out yourself and form your own opinion, but as I know my fellow Guardians, most of you just want it for collection purposes.
[b]Needs a buff ASAP[/b], 1 or 2 abilities that makes it somehow worth using. Vex is so much better than this, it looks and feels like a "one of a kind" gun. Man, what are we getting in House of Wolves? An exotic Cucumber Stick? #GoodGodBungie

i agree...i had crux drop yesterday and was so excited...went to the tower took out my ally and upgraded..i was saying to myself shit yeah this guns gonna be great...went out on patrol and was like WTF?!??...it has no impact..takes just about a whole clip to kill low level shit..this gun is in desperate need of a buff..at least a larger clip..the guns fire rate is at 100 yet they give it a 42 clip mag mag (!)...wtf bungie?!!?!

3 RepliesI never use Vex unless I'm getting the fusion rifle kills bounty. I like Necrophiliac, great for Abyss, Omnigul, anything with clusters of enemies. Basically an autorifle with Firefly. It couldn't be EVERY kill explodes, PVP diehards would complain and complain like always. Must suck to be DeeJ, having to listen to everyone complain all the time about skilled players using good guns.

8 Replies[b][u]Improvement for Necrochasm:[/u][/b] [b]- Buff magazine to 77.[/b] (Bungie should've done this anyway from the start.) [b]- Buff stability so that if fitted stock is selected, stability will be max.[/b] [b]- Buff impact slightly.[/b] [b]- Buff thrall explosion radius to be on par with the Firefly perk, if not slightly larger.[/b] There, problem solved. The gun is now truly exotic with the game-warping power an exotic is SUPPOSED to have. The Crux right now does NOTHING to the gun except give it 1 lackluster ability and arc damage. The stats and mag are unchanged. SMH

I agree with all the people that say this gun is a true disappointment. I hope they have some major buffs ready to install on this pathetic representation of an exotic gun... I tried it on all modes in destiny and other guns are way better... It's sad to say that even bad juju stands out better than this gun :(

WTF bungie! this gun is nothing but a huge disappointment. I got it yesterday and used in hard raid, nightfall and a normal low level strike. it's just an arc eidolon ally with firefly. it is outclassed by the good old 300 fatebringer in almost any situation !!! it's not worth an exotic slot and it is a shame that a gun that hard to obtain is so underwhelming!

2 RepliesAll weapons need two attribute tables, one for PvE and one for PvP. PvP balance has ruined the quality of Raid weapons, it should have it's own knobs and whistles outside of PvE.

================================== Simple buff for Necrochasm is to make the exploding perk give back health when it is triggered. Aswell as increasing the blast radius and damage of the curse explosion. Also if the explosion perk had an increased rate of happening? Maybe? Along as the buff makes the explosion more impressive than firefly an give you back health someway or some how. ==================================

2 RepliesIt's stats are fine, I just think they should have a different ability other than rangefinder. Anything that would help more on the house of wolves raid. The mythoclast was the gun to be used in Crota's end when it launched. They need to keep it in that direction for HoW. Everything about the gun is completely fine except for it's second ability. It's pretty useless with the type of auto rifle. I enjoy everything else about it though. Except maybe magazine size

13 RepliesNo land beyond is shit, 4th horseman is shit, dragons breath is ok but still the worst exotic rocket launcher, and necrocasim is shit. After the vex was nerfed bungie was just too dam afraid to make an exotic that was actually worth using.

1 ReplyI wish some of the CE primaries/secondaries/Heavies were a little better. VOG has some awesome guns. I just feel if CE guns matches up to VOG guns people would would drop FateBringer so fast if WoC was OPer than it, but CE primaries kinda suck. Abyss, Fang and WoC are the only alright ones, Vex shits on Necro. Black Hammer, Light of the Abyss are a lot better than PR/PF, but BH only beats PR in PVE, not PVP. Hunger totally shows up Hezen just because of tracking and Song of Ir Yût is alright. Not much excitement coming from CE's guns.

I just got Necro too, it shouldnt even be a legendary at this point. It needs a bigger mag and much more impact to be viable.
