CALLING ALL WARLOCKS
Well, I main a Titan and I love my Titan. Lately I've been thinking about starting a warlock and seeing if it suits my game style. I got two warlock helmets from engrams yesterday which only makes me want to start a warlock even more. So my question to you is:
Which helmet do you warlocks think is better, The Obsidian Mind or The Skull of Dire Ahamkara. Secondly which is better for void walker and which is better for su singer. Lastly which subclass do you think is better?

Obsidian mind Come hard mode crota time though, you're gonna want to pick up a Light Beyond Nemesis or an Apotheosis Veil. Personally I use sunsinger with self res for hard raids and nightfalls. Voidwalker for everything else. Best exotic for sunsinger is Praxic Fire imo.

Obsidian Mind with Voidwalker and never look back, if your good with it their is no need for self rez.

I had both, but dismantled Skull for a shard I needed. Obsidian Mind I use constantly. It's very useful, especially for Voidwalker. If you have Bad Juju, it's even better.

They're both void walker helmets...neither are that great for sunsinger. Obsidian mind is better for pve, ahamkara is better for pvp, imo.

Got obsidian mind when nightfall was nexus and made a warlock bc of. Been putting it off but had the whole week off last week to level him up. Obviously running voidwalker and man, locks are savs for sure! Did a roc strike with two other locks and it was absolutely, ridiculously fun.

Well if you wanna look like a badass mamma jamma then go with fire of ahamkara. But ability wise the obsidian mind is the way to go. Better effects

OR voidwalker for epic void bombing and energy sucking abilities. Be ready to run like a little girl dodging attacks as warlocks are not that great on defense. - Yet I find it rather fun being a sneaky/fast bastard. XD

Obsidian mind, as it gives more super, and nova Bomb is fast enough in most situations that you don't need the protection from dire ahamkara

If you wanna shit Nova Bombs everywhere in PvE, use Obsidian Mind+Shatter perk on voidwalker. If you wanna not die while using your super in PvP, use Apotheosis Veil or the Skull of Dire Ahamkara. All three of theese helms are amazing and I switch them out quite regularly.

2 RepliesI hope I'm not too late in answering, but keep both. There are some situations that you need one or the other. But that's my opinion, whatever you think is better, you keep.

Both helmets are for voidwalker. Obsidian mind is the better helm.

Depends on what you're doing. OM is perfect for PvE voidwalker, and the Skull would be better for PvP. You're not usually going to get multikills with nova bomb unless you play a lot of control, so you're not really getting the most out of OM's special perk. The Skull's perk is better for getting nova off in PvP before someone kills you. As for Sunsinger, I use Light Beyond Nemesis. But, I really only use SS for raids or nightfalls. I hear other people swear by some of the SS chest pieces that I don't have, so you may want to look at those.

2 RepliesThe consensus is right. Obsidian mind is better. It is not subclass neutral though so it is useless with sunsinger. Sunsinger is the superior class for pve IMO. It's cheap, but you basically get two lives. And even if you don't use the self res, the super is extremely good for damaging bosses or when you are overwhelmed by adds. Sunsinger also has the best grenades. And melee can regen health, even without killing the enemy you melee.

OM with voidwalker. Pair it with bad juju you have nova bombs for days. Starfire protocol and sunsinger + a decent full auto weapon= orbs for days
