Guess what 1/25/15 was :(
1/25/15 was the 4 month death aniversary of the Loot Cave. Let us all take a moment to mourn our loss. R.I.P Loot Cave 9/09/14-9/25/14. 1/25/15 was a sad day for guardians everywhere.

2 Repliesloot drop seems pretty rng. i tried lootcaves but never got better than blues which almost ever decrypt for trash. 1 purple simply dropped randomly on patrol killing a regular dregg. upgrading seems to work best on telemetries with bounties on Radiant buff. the loot System Needs to reward Players on their "endgame" again because at the 20s all green and blue stuff dont matter anymore. The enemies moving against each other still happen on the skywatch and on venus never saw the Guardians beat all waves and after 5 minutes all carnage Ends with factions leaving through the spawns which is as unspectacular as a vanishing walker not dropping a single bottlecap.

The beloved Loot Cave, you are still very much missed. I will be sure to spend some time in front of it, mourning. Even more sad to know that so many newer Guardians out there never will experience the joy and social aspect that the Cave gave. But alas, the Darkness swept through Skywatch and tore the Cave to pieces, destroying it forever.

2 RepliesI miss loot cave. I believe a monthly commemorative ceremony is appropriate. Bring it back one day a month bungie!!!! It MADE this game in its earliest stages. Let the veterans remember! Show the noobs and newbz what the raw Destiny frontier was like!

One time I was their with a friend and a defend the warsat started. My friend started running around trying to get crushed and I just moved back a bit to enjoy him getting crushed. I then preceded to be crushed dead center by the incoming warsat.

7 RepliesThe loot cave spawned the "panic attack" or "enemies moving against each other" in that area. Now THAT is fun. I do miss the sight of a dozen guardians standing around waiting for the enemies to come rolling out. It was the only thing that really felt like the large scale public events they hinted at in the teaser trailers.
