So last night I was finally able to try the hard mode. I tried the normal cheese in the lamp room, which for my Titan required playing the striker and having a weapon with +2 agility plus maxing the agility to make the second lamp jump.
I also found that the ogre doesn't flinch like they used to with critical shots (at least not with ice breaker). That meant rock standing was insta death while he fired at me, UNLESS I changed to defender, blessing of light and chose the longer ward of dawn perk. Took a couple shots at the ogre and then popped the bubble. It lasts almost the entire duration of the bridge build. Once it dropped, move to the bridge, kill what you can and then run like mad when the debuff drops. Anyone else find other ways to do it with other classes?
Also does anyone know the update to the anhilation totem mechanism that they changed now? We would have one person on the far side of the bridge, wipe the others, but when the ogre spawned the totem went off and killed him although he wasn't on any center platforms.

6 RepliesEdited by bennySlides: 1/26/2015 4:52:51 PMI found hiding behind a rock next to the bridge works well. Regarding the second section, sword bearers and gatekeepers, you need at least one guy to go across the bridge otherwise the totems kill you. Have that guy hide behind a pillar on the left side of the bridge while everyone else snipes the ogres. If you want to despawn the ads on the first side you could have a few guys jump to the top of the tower then have someone else activate the plate, die and then have any sunsingers self res. Still need a guy to go across the bridge though.

3 RepliesWith a Defender and Patience and Time you can pop off a few shots when it appears then wait till the Ogre makes it to the other side of the rock he spawns on. Then you ADS for 3 seconds to activate the invisibility which lasts for about 8 seconds. Afterward pop your bubble and wait till it almost comes down, then ADS again for invisibility. By that time the bridge should be up, or nearly up. Just run across and ta-da!
