red death is the new ghorn
I don't want to play with people who can't stay alive and hold their own in the raid .
The new hard raid isn't about dps , it's all about being able to maintain a routine and help one another stay alive to deliver the final blow to crota .
The ghallahorn is good for shields but the red death is great for staying alive .

Edit 2: can't believe this has more then 500 comments now . I've beat the raid , and I've used both weapons but, I find red death more useful due to health regen perk . Hunger of crota is a great sub . You don't need ghallahorn .

lol if played right there really isnt a need for regen. theres spots from the center where you wont get hit and from there its teamwork. people who "need" red death are people who just rush in and try and concur. there are far more valuable exotics i would rather equip

I have red death but just got 300 attack RD, not 331

Didn't feel like upgrading my RD but I'm sure it's great for the raid. Sometimes I'll use the Suros or just equip my Veil Helm for my Warlock tho.

RD is definitely nice to have in the Raid. I'm now on talking terms with the 2.0 version :-)

I'd rather use ghorn and a piece of armour that lets me regen health from orbs.

Red Death is the first exotic I ever got. I've always really liked it and it is quite useful in the raid. But at the same time I don't think it should be necessary for people to stay alive.

I wish I had red death now since it's the only exotic I don't have. I'm stuck using suros for the time being.

Rather use my gjallahorn. Red death isn't needed when you have something great like apothesies veil, where you regen if you activate your super and regen when you pick up an orb

Edited by slopat: 1/27/2015 2:25:06 AMThere are many ways to regen health, RD is just one of them. Silly to compare it to GH which stands alone in it's category. With that being said, I don't use GH in CE, it is overkill and the exotic slot is better used for more useful options.
