What's up with all the america hate, where'd patriotism go? The kinda stuff that made people go to war and die for it.

Patriotism can lead to being small minded and disconnected from being connected to all humans, which can lead to racism, ect. It's impossible to have any complete trust for any governments.

Patriotism is wanting the best for your country, not supporting it no matter what.

A lot of people bailed on patriotism thanks to the Iraq war. I've met a number of people who were going to go into the US government until that war started, at which point they lost faith entirely in the government's decision making.

Internet is killing patriotism. Good thing, nationalist ideas prevent people from sharing common heritage with the rest of the population.
