Vision of Confluence: have to be raid fireteam leader?
I've currently completed VoG normal twice. I got Praedyth's Revenge in the first run and Hezen Vengeance in the second. I'm really eager to get Vision of Confluence (yes, despite its 300 damage max). My question is: does it matter whether you're the fireteam leader?
The reason I ask is because even though I've completed VoG already, there's still an exclamation point on the map for it as if I haven't. In the past, I noticed that only the fireteam leader acquires story-based weapons (i.e. Stranger's Rifle and Murmur).
Is Vision of Confluence another of these story-based weapons that you can only acquire as fireteam leader?

Took me 13 or 14 hard raids with double drops to get the VoC

No. Raid drops are all random. Your luck just sucks

Doesn't make any difference. I've had 4 and I think I was the fire team on one of those raids.

4 RepliesGood luck with RNG bro it takes a lot of raids to get what you want out of there. I have done it a bunch, and I am still waiting on Praetorians Foil.

It's there because of hard mode

Wasn't leader and first time doing it my buddy Atheon dropped the VoC

Its rng just like all other weapon drops. Just keep raiding and you'll get it.

Who the fireteam leader is has no bearing on what drops people get.
