To Gjallarhorn "Elitist"
I would like to start off by saying that this post is intended for the certain percentage of people who have Gjallarhorn and think they have some superiority to others. This thread is aimed towards them in order to set them straight. Please keep the comments some what "decent" since I know a lot of you like to post ridiculous remarks ( saying anything among the lines of "your mad" or "jelly" will have me automatically assume your 12 since I've never heard anyone older than that act that way).
You are in no way,shape or form "better" than anyone else who doesn't have the Gjallarhorn. You only received this weapon form this games random loot system or bought from xur in the second week of the game. However you obtained it, having it does not make you special since it came from complete randomness or xur, in which case anyone could have bought from. So, you are not "special" since none of you realize how many people really have the Gjallarhorn and fail to see that once everyone thinks their special, you are no longer special. This false sense of superiority comes from mainly people the forums who always complain about not having the Gjallarhorn while in reality, only a small percent of the population utilizes the forums. So yeah, you are no more special than the rest of us in an RNG based, almost "broken" game.
Edit 1: I am not mad first of all. I do have Gjallarhorn idiots.

Ha ok tell them something they don't know haha. And actually I think that people go did buy it the second week of the games release are pretty good because it's not like they had the time we would have to have enough coins! I'm not saying there better and we suck but I mean come on I didn't even know what a strange coin was two weeks after release let alone what a Gjallarhorn was?

I don't get the elitist stuff at all. I got the Gjallarhorn from a Nightfall drop but I hope Xur sells it soon because it's a great weapon. I wouldn't mind getting another one and I think everyone should have it just because of how powerful it is. The whole "earned" thing or not wanting others to have a weapon is childish in my opinion.

1 ReplyI have 3 32s and 600+ hours of gameplay and because I bought the exotic armor the week xur had the gjallahorn I guess I don't deserve it because I have yet to get the drop from 3 nightfalls and all raids every week... Fml

I used my Gjallarhorn to beat Crota on hard. He gave me the Fang and another Gjallarhorn. Hornception

During the fastest completion on Crota's End, the Exotic that was used most was Gjallarhorn. I like to do things quickly... Meaning that if I kick you off my fireteam, it doesn't mean I think you're bad, it's because you don't have Gjallarhorn.

I don't think I am better than anyone else. I do think because I have the gun that I may have a slight advantage over people without the gjallarhorn. Now the severity of that advantage may be slim or high. However, I don't look down upon those who don't have it and honestly wish xur would sell it. That way someone else could be eating heavy synth and I could use my other exotics.
