This Iron Banner Is A Slap To The Face Bungie
You guys just can't seem to make the right decisions with this game.
Lvl 32 Gauntlets? WHO DECIDED THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA? If you're like me, you just got these gloves from the last Iron Banner. Now there is another with higher light? [b]WTF Bungie[/b]? [u]Oh wait, let's not forget it's been sold 3 times in a row.[/u] You know Bungie, can't have a full set of armor until it all comes irrelevant with the next expansion.
Lvl 31 Chest? OMG, Bungie, just stop. Fire who ever is in charge with this.
Timur's Lash? Where's the new primary such as Skorri's Revenge? God dammit.
You guys just can't make logical decisions with this game. It's pathetic.
NEW WEAPONS SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY. NOT SELLING WEAPONS WE HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT.

7 RepliesThis post is kind of pointless... Reading through the posts in here; you're part of the minority complaining about this, not "the masses". IB is a pvp event, of course they're not going to give out a full set of raid-level gear, one or two pieces for the people having trouble with the RNG during the raid is good enough. It's to help people who prefer pvp to get a bit closer to being raid-ready if they want, and for other people who feel like changing up their arms (in this case). And as far as the weapons go... Who cares? They don't need to waste their time making new skins for weapons that can be re-rolled, so of course there's going to be repetitions of the ones being sold. I get it, you're upset that you worked your way up to rank 5 last time to get a weapon that no one uses, and now it has a chance to drop as a reward for players... I just don't see why I, or anyone else should care. That's like complaining about Xur selling an exotic which you got as a drop while enjoying playing the game. It's annoying, but it's no glass of spilled milk. (That would be a travesty)

The frequent armor drops. Out of my 5 raids I have recieved: -shards -HoC -Ghorn -light of abyss -sword breaker -gauntlets, legs, and chest -4th horseman Not to dish on the raid. Lots of fun but iron banner is definitely earning it! (Still won't do it though)

2 RepliesForreal. I was looking forward to either the Warlock chest or helmet but LO AND BEHOLD they've made it near useless at level 31. I could be 32 with it and actually like how my character looks lmao. But nope. Now I HAVE to be stuck with either the ugly raid helmet or the ugly raid chest. I love being a clone.

I was actually excited for the gauntlets, they are by far my favorite arm piece cosmetically and my current pair fit what my character is doing to a tee.(pulse rifle reload and punching things quick-like). I can't seem to let them go and was excited when I saw gauntlets in the IB lineup. Except the gauntlets available actually provides me worse bonuses with the exception of the increased armor rating.... and then I noticed everything else. Everything in their I've already gotten (given the lower tier) in the FIRST Iron Banner with the exception of the rocket launcher. There almost seems like no reason for me to participate in Iron Banner other than get my reputation up.... oh but wait that always resets anyways so it doesn't really matter. I guess they reset it so they can give us the same stuff again and again. Not only that but in the previous Iron Banners I work my butt off so I can get those things before they disappear forever, only to find out they don't disappear, they'll come back at a later date. I agree, the system seems to punish people who put time into the events, and I'm really getting tired of it. I normally don't complain about this game, but seriously.... This Iron Banner offers 0 rewards for people the played in the events previously... people that obviously like these events because they worked their butts off on them before.

So what, the PVP fans can't have their fun, too? Destiny is for a broad range of people, why not be more accepting of that? For the raiders who have sensitive egos, lookit this way: raiders get more and it's got more features and they get it earlier. So, I still don't see a big deal.

3 RepliesI see his frustration. Decision maker at Buggie needs to the honest and respectful to player around from day one. Instead making new rules as it go when ever they want. Be up front with your follower and customer.

Yep, the more time you put into this game, the more Bungie will punish you for it. Just don't participate, I certainly won't be.

3 RepliesWhy would they make the chest 31, I just don't understand... if they made the gloves and chest 31 they'd show that they want the raid gear to be the only path to 32. But I don't see the logic behind making the gloves 32 and the chest 31...

I'll buy the new Level 32 gauntlets and Level 31 chestplate, mix with the old Level 30 boots and my Level 32 Helm of Inmost Light, and [i]BAM![/i] I won't look exactly the same as every other Level 31 Titan out there.

Completely agree! What's the point in holding back the chest and helmet? Unless they make a surprise change tomorrow I won't be playing until next month!

Oh well. I'm looking forward to the Timur's lash and rolling it until I love it. Maybe even replace my raid gauntlets with the iron banner ones because they are much more cosmetically pleasing. I'm happy about it :)
