Universal Remote or MIDA Multi-tool?
So in the vault today I got both the universal remote and the MIDA multi-tool.
I'm looking for opinions on both, so far I like the multi-tool better, but the universal might be better than it sounds.

Edited by Zoop: 1/13/2015 3:00:00 PMUr is prett shitty imho, i had high hopes for it when it dropped as one of my first exotics, thus played quite a bit with it untill it was maxxed... You really need a sniper next to it, everything further away than 10m is a problem, and switching to that sniper way too much. The mida tool however, is a perfectly balanced gun. You can use it for pretty much any activity, and the speed/agility perks makes you nice and quick.

I just have the MIDA, so I cant comment UR.....but MIDA is bad ass IMO. Solid impact, big magazine, headshot machine!! The only thing I don't like is the one scope it has, there are no options to change out scopes for closer or longer engagements.

Both are my favorite exotics in the game. Amazingly fun.

1 ReplyUR is pretty much just crap unless you really just want to cheese people off with a shorty and a sniper or fusion rifle. Go with the mida, its fun in pve and devastating in pvp.

4 RepliesMIDA is one of the best guns for hunters. UR is literally the worst gun in the game. UR takes your primary and exotic slots and replaces them with a level 10 shotgun with no elemental damage.

Universal Remote is HORRIBLE. You might as well shard it.

Mida, my warlock speced for grenade cooldown can out run hunters specced for agility with it. Great for CE lamp maze as well.

Read the description on the Universal Remote. Thats the only opinion you will ever need for that gun. I love my mida though it's very cool

Run with the remote and a fusion rifle in the crucible. Become the center of attention!

If you're not constantly in The Crucible, then go with the Mida. That remote is pretty much built specifically for PvP

Universal Remote is one of the best shot guns in the game, but it was made for crucible. Mida is a good all around gun, level up that one first.
