You've basically said the reason yourself. It allows you to take the option of doing AoE damage with Storm Fist or having a chance to have Storm Fist instantly recharge when used. I've personally never found the first particularly useful, but the second is definitely useful in those situations when you have a number of enemies charging you that are harder to OHK with basic melee. Being able to smash through a group of melee stealth vandals is fairly amusing. *Edit: Transfusion is in the same column as Headstrong and Aftershocks. My mistake.

Doesn't it just give you Transfusion? Transfusion is in a different column with Headstrong and Aftershock. It's useless

My mistake. It is in the same column as headstrong and aftershocks. But my point remains. It gives you the option of taking something else within said column, without sacrificing the health regen from Storm Fist kills.

Inmost Light lets you have two extra perks, including Headstrong so transfusion is still there. Insurmountable is useless and not worth the slot. Your point is solid

Inmost light just let's you super from farther away which honestly isn't too useful seeing as I tend to not have a problem getting close enough in pve or pvp. Skullfort will give you the ability to use transfusion and aftershock s so it is far from useless

The usefulness of any piece of exotic armor is determined by what someone's build is. If someone really wants Transfusion alongside Aftershocks, Skullfort allows that. If someone has Inmost Light, they would have Headstrong, but still have to choose between Transfusion and Aftershocks.
