I have Gjallarhorn and I want it nerfed
Gjallarhorn is way too op in this game in raid or regular PVE, also it so -blam!-ing annoying when some grade 11 kids using it. in VOG you can always hear some kids said " oh I got most kill cuz I have Gjallarhorn" " I can solo both portal cuz I have a Gjallarhorn" yeh I know you have a -blam!-ing Gjallarhorn so what ? you mom pride of you ?
it must be nerfed! either remove the wolf pack or reduce the rocket to 1 from 2.

24 RepliesI have put way way way to many hours into this game. like nearing 1,000... and 2 nights ago I finally got my Gjallarhorn after beating crota. I couldnt believe it at first. I had actually given up, because i thought i was destined to never have one. So i promptly started leveling it up. and i realized.... I HATE it. I dont hate using it, its fantastic. I hate it because I had formed a perception in my head. My experience with a Gjallarhorn thus far amounted to countless players rubbing in my face that they have one, and I do not. and somehow that made them superior. I felt dirty using it. I hate what it stands for. I hate what it turns people into. It is a weapon of corruption. So i swore that i will never be like those people. i will never alienate other for not having a Gjallarhorn, or think that I am superior in any way. If you want to see a persons true character, give him power.

A "grade 11 kid" is more than capable of displaying more maturity that you did in that post. Hell I know some "grade 10 kids" that can drive already and have jobs.

People like you will always cry for nerf untill every single item and class is equal in every measure. If game developers would listen to your lot and do what you demand, you would change note to: "Waaaah! This game is bland and boring! I iz guitting!" For as long as there is more than one item in game, there will be OP stuff in some peoples mind.

All you need do is unequip the item, hover over it with the curser, and press and hold the square button (PS) or the X button (XBox). Now players like you no longer need to run to the forums complaining that your weapon is too powerful. Simply try the "do-it-yourself nerf" option and you never have to be bothered with that pesky OP weapon/armor again!

Tell that kid that people can enter the portals alone with a weak rocket and still do it easily. I can say that cause I had to do it with my "weak" character after forgetting to switch weapons. I'm not saying having it means no skills,just trying to help you out feel better on that matter. I'm still waiting for the day I earn my ghorn by fighting,not buying it if it comes again.

Unless its op in crucible they aren't touching it. Which it is not op in crucible. Its not op in pve either. Know why? Its an exotic rocket launcher. Exotics that are supposed to be on a whole new level from legendaries. G-Horn is the one that actually fits this bill perfectly for pve unlike half of them. Also if you are asking for something to be nerfed in pve when you have the OPTION of using it, then get off the game. Oh and your actual complaint is more player based then the actual weapon itself. Maybe you should find better groups if you find people that talk like that. Calling a nerf on a weapon for that reason alone is also baseless and well idiotic or troll either way...

You can solo it just as easily with black hammer, ice breaker and I just did it with a vanguard sniper on normal this evening. I have also solo'd a portal with truth. Skilled players solo portals. Not guns
