if u cheesed the raid don't wear CROTAs emblem
So. With all the absolutes in this forum. I'll say this. If you cheesed Crotas raid and you are now wearing the CROTA emblem that you get at the end of the raid; my advice is not to use it until you do the raid legit. Otherwise, don't you feel at all guilty for showing that you accomplished something that you actually didn't accomplish??? Said my peace.
Also been seeing A LOT of Crotas emblem when I play the crucible or strike list. My thoughts on that is there is no way that that many people completed it without cheesing
Full disclosure: this is all opinion! And you're entitled to yours. I have a friend who wears the emblem that cheeses the raid. I ask myself how can u wear that proudly?
Edit: so this goes to prove that boredom causes people to post random thoughts, and after it's posted people get way too heated over this silly, but somewhat true statement

I only got that emblem on my Hunter...not gonna be doing raid anytime soon anyways...besides I'm working on my Warlock again. So basically I'll be doing VoG and Crota's End Raid legitimately as soon as I get out of my light level 30 gear on my Warlock :/

I don't really even wear mine anymore. All 3 of my characters have one but I feel that having the emblem isn't so special now that so many scrubs have cheesed it.

I find the ones with the helms or guns from crota but don't use emblem tend to be the ones that done it the way it's ment to be done as they feel no need to show it off and the ones that cheated feel the the to show it as if they are in big boy pants now

If a raid can be soloed then who cares cause that defeats the purpose of calling it a raid in the first place , if bungie wants to stay top dog then they need to come up with some harder stuff that is impossible to solo , do that and ya got yourself a raid

2 RepliesTo be honest, in the beginning trying to cheese, it was WAY more work to make it all happen, that doing it legit actually. We failed so many times that doing it legit sounded easier (at first). But I get what you mean, doing it legit is funnier.

3 RepliesGot mine for the Titan and warlock the first week of Crota's End. Wasn't bad as the first time through VoG, because we knew a lot more strategy wise as a team, and each person knew what to do in a situation if it ever arose. Just last night, so many just on crucible that were 29, even 28 that had the emblem.

1 ReplyWell...I didn't cheese it and I earned my emblem and shader...after seeing that my clan group wasn't available,I had to join another group but their are not the most "inspired" people to legit most stuff...with a weird feeling inside of me I convinced myself just to go along with their "plans". Turns out they wanted to cheese Crota. I personally didn't know how to cheese him (not kidding). Still I had two options: wait till Monday for my group to come and risk the chance of not being able to do it OR just forgive myself and learn how to cheese him only for the sake of the shards (I had all armor before I did this). So...I know I don't need to cheese him to kill him but I did it once. Quick fact: we the legit players told the truth,it's easier the legit way instead of having a team having different ideas at the same time and I can finally testify for those with doubts. I'm not going to say that cheesers are losers but I suggest you try it the legit way. It's funner (besides the screams) and easier. Juliel PR Light Impact

I don't wear the emblem anyways, personally it looks like trash and and too many people have it, so I shall continue rocking my emblems that I have been for awhile now.
