Does Anyone NOT cheese the Bridge??? (Rant)
I start groups off of LFG and clearly state "NO CHEESE BECAUSE IM NOT A BITCH", and when we get to the bridge everyone wants to do the self res cheese.
If you get rewards for doing nothing, it's not a REWARD, it's charity. It's hollow. The bridge part is fun, challenging, and requires teamwork. That's the reason we got the game is it not?
I either kick them or I leave.
They should just make a raid where you drop in, dance, and get hella rewards. You guys would love it.
Is no one else righteous enough not to accept charity when you don't even need it?
Edit: If you have a 6 person fireteam and you don't go across the bridge one at a time and kill the gatekeepers, it's cheating. I don't really care to hear all the methods of being a lazy cheater.
Edit 2: Looks like you fools better start practicing now. You will be cheeseless as of Tuesday. Bungie has confirmed that they are fixing the bridge, self res, despawn, and Crota kneel issues. :) Thank you Bungie. Anyone who doesn't know how to do it legit=kicked (Unless it's their first run. They are more than welcome)

I kind of feel like exploring, keeping the fireteam alive, and getting loot is the goal of the dungeon, er, raid...as long as we're having fun. Although, if I clearly posted "NO CHEESE" and they all wanted to do it anyways, that would be annoying. Maybe try sending out the party invites but in the message put in all caps "LEGIT CROTA RUN NO CHEESE". Maybe then you'll only get responses from cheese-free Guardians?

I enjoy doing the bridge and getting across with the sword and beating down the guard on the other side there is no point in cheesing this raid it's easy enough as it is

Make your own group with friends/clan mates Just checked your profile, shit weapons not lvled up, double warlocks, lvl 30 with 4 cheese kills on Crota and very little experience of raiding. Thank God for my clan and not having to deal with the weird asses from LFG. When we don't feel like screwing with it we just cheese it. When we are good on time we legit. We have yet to fail to get the bonus hallway chest. My favorite part of the raid and the only real challenge.

Bridge is the most fun part of the whole raid. I hate groups who want to cheese that bit :-/

Got it And before you say that it's the official proper method for completing the bridge section you're wrong. The method you seem to think is the only proper way is simply the first method that was used by the first raid group to defeat Crota. Until Bungie comes out and says "Hey guys this is the proper way for completing each section of the raid" with an instructional guide there is no proper way. The key part to the bridge section is that EVERYBODY in your team needs to be competent and know what they are doing for you to succeed. For the Abyss, Crota or the Deathsingers (or whatever they are called) you can carry one or two people through. That's not the case with the bridge. This is a challenge when you are running groups from LFG. I've not come across an LFG group yet that hasn't had one or two incompetants in it. It's all fine when you have a good raid team assembled, but if not, then the bridge can turn into wipetown.

I do it legit when solo, or with 5-6 ppl. But when with 3 or 4 we cheese it.

I will run legit with you if you want however I am happy to cheese it. You know why it's the same reason I still run vog. I enjoy the vog even at this point I find it fun and enjoyable. Crota I don't enjoy I treat it as a chore like my weekly heroics i have to finish to say I am done, but I get no enjoyment out of it so I run it quickly as possible, (takes me 45 minutes it a hour to 2 man it and about 30 minutes to cheese it.)

2 RepliesI never wanted to cheese any part of the VoG. Why? Because that raid was legit. It was fun and had an awesome vibe of exploration. I didn't wanna cheese any part of Crota until I beat it legit a few times. Why dont I care about cheesing it now? Because the Crota raid is a complete joke. Its super short, it warps you to each new part like starting a damn story mission, and its only 3 rooms. The raid is complete shit
