Does Anyone NOT cheese the Bridge??? (Rant)
I start groups off of LFG and clearly state "NO CHEESE BECAUSE IM NOT A BITCH", and when we get to the bridge everyone wants to do the self res cheese.
If you get rewards for doing nothing, it's not a REWARD, it's charity. It's hollow. The bridge part is fun, challenging, and requires teamwork. That's the reason we got the game is it not?
I either kick them or I leave.
They should just make a raid where you drop in, dance, and get hella rewards. You guys would love it.
Is no one else righteous enough not to accept charity when you don't even need it?
Edit: If you have a 6 person fireteam and you don't go across the bridge one at a time and kill the gatekeepers, it's cheating. I don't really care to hear all the methods of being a lazy cheater.
Edit 2: Looks like you fools better start practicing now. You will be cheeseless as of Tuesday. Bungie has confirmed that they are fixing the bridge, self res, despawn, and Crota kneel issues. :) Thank you Bungie. Anyone who doesn't know how to do it legit=kicked (Unless it's their first run. They are more than welcome)

I am, it's loads of fun, and it isn't very hard either, should make solo only chest that's another exotic chest which only spawns when solo'd and doesn't spawn unless you're going through the raid again not so you'd receive regular drops except except that chest, would be a fun one to go for and if the cheeses are detected it despawn's so players would be forced to not be cheese dependent. I know it's a random idea but if this idea is accepted before hard is out then the players that actually do the raid get a reward they alone can get

My only question is why would you find a raid group just to cheese. If you want to cheese, do it on your own. I can cheese on my lonesome past the bridge, then solo the death singer. Only group cheesing should be Crota, if that's your thing. Leave raid group finders to the ones who actually want to beat the raid legit.

Bridge is my favourite part of the raid :) Making a comeback and killing two gatekeepers if someone dies across the bridge is great fun

I've done it both ways and it's really easy both ways so I do it whatever way the group wants to do it

I've only done the bridge twice legit. Both in the first week. Since then I haven't been in a group who does it legit. At least I know the mechanics of the fight if/when Bungie ever fixes it. I'm sure there are some people who have no idea how to do it legit.

That's just using available game mechanics and it's easier on my 32s without finding 6.

1 ReplySince you ask why, the answer is speed. We've done it legit a lot, but cheesing the bridge saves minutes. Cheesing crota seems like it might be slower. We kill him in one to one and a half sword carries, depending on if he glitches or not. But the bridge? Yeah saying doing it legit is faster is stupid. Unless you're doing that wrong too.

1 ReplyThere is no reason to. The fact that you can solo most of the raid makes it all the better. Ill spend all the extra saved time to do crota.

I do it the least cheasiest way possible, solo. Ogh course you cant build the bridge solo, so I use the sword slah to get over there, and thats it.

2 RepliesI've never done the bridge legit, like most of the raid it's broken thanks to Bungies terrible testing. Everything else ive done legit, not one group ive been with had ever mentioned doing this part legit.

2 RepliesI honestly don't even know how to cheese it. I was surprised when I got to the bridge with a team and they asked who was going to cheese it (maybe it was second week? I'm not sure). My response? "This is easy - why would anyone ever cheese it?" It is also my favorite part of the raid. I was fireteam leader and thankfully didn't have to boot anyone - they all agreed to learn how to do it legit and we finished quickly. When I post on forums to pick up fireteam members (I usually start my own team if I go on the forums) I usually specify that we are not cheesing. It takes a couple of minutes longer but I always end up with significantly more skilled players.
