Well I wasn't one of the first people to buy destiny as I wasn't so keen on buying it because the whole idea just didn't sound good to me, but all that aside I bought it like 3-4 weeks ago and got the DLC so I can play with my mates who had it from day one, and with in a week I am 30 almost 31 which I do find BS but I don't appreciate people messageing me over PSN because I'm a 'DLC' noob, like if it's there should I not use it! lol come on, me personally I would preference to grind it like everyone else did but don't take you anger out on us DLC noobs.

2 RepliesYou're leveling story is exactly why I'm loosing interest in this game. Nothing personal but it's a slap in the face to day one players.

Well, unless you put the Konami code in or something like that to get your armor, no one should care. This whole game is weird and goes against what other traditional RPGs, FPSs, and MMOs do and suffers from an identity crisis. I think this causes players to get upset at little stuff like this. We all have more leveling to look forward to when house of wolves comes out anyways.

1 ReplyMy problem with you being 30 isn't that you're a 30. It's more of I'm mad at bungie for giving welfare armor. Or at least what feels like it. This is because it makes the progression system, two steps foward, one step back. Right now I can hit 32, I just need more shards. But I don't want to. When house of wolves comes around, the vanguard gear will become superior to my raid gear. Where is the logic in this? Congrats on hitting 30 though :)

The problem is that you and your "mates" can level up to 30 just by purchasing the game. Back in my day we had to do the vault to get to 30 and we had to get gear to do it! You kids these days love everything handed to you, you must be a millennial. You want everything yesterday for free. I bet you show up to work late with your coffee in your hand too.

3 RepliesEdited by Hidden: 1/6/2015 12:24:28 AMI'm a day one/beta player, and i agree, I played for hours to get to level 29 to be able to hold my own in the vault, never got any vault gear, and still didn't understand all the slang for alot of stuff, until two days ago I didn't even know that the pile of "remains" in skywatch was an Easter egg, (I just liked hearing the voice thing), so don't think that all first day players are like the ones who "grinded" using the loot cave, I'm just a casual player (3 hours or so a day) and I bought my way to level 31 aswell. And if you have any questions I would be happy to try to explain (or show you if you're on ps4) if i even know lol
