Holy **** on a **** sandwich, do we really need that many enemies? I mean, I can understand some foes to shoot down, but when you reach the top of that big staircase-type area, the yellow-health foes just POUR out of there. And after you fell the last of the 20 waves or so, you take two steps into the gate at the top and ANOTHER onslaught of foes comes out.
The boss was actually like the easiest part of this whole strike!!!
They need to balance it to have less foes, this crap is ridiculous.
EDIT: Thank you to all of those who replied thoughtfully. Nothing wrong with disagreement. To all those who replied with "your gear sucks" and "your weapon sucks" or just plain "you suck" comments: Congratulations, you are at what is wrong with this game. I'm starting to understand all of the people who call this community "toxic"

This is a toxic community, I agree. Be careful, they're crazy.

2 RepliesDont bother turning on blue polyphage..wont count against the ultras..found out last night #fvckbungie

I usually don't have problems with that part. My team just sit at the bottom and push forward. Also, they're not hard to kill if you aim for their critical area (the white orb)
-
It's actually my favorite strike. Rockets and supers everywhere.
-
5 RepliesCan't wait for it to be a nightfall!
-
It's a mini raid lol I love that strike it's a tad challenging
-
Too right we do its most fun strike in the game I love running it :) And you will to soon :)
-
3 Repliestreat the 'staircase' like the gates on Mars(?) don't focus on the mobs. kill the big guy up top & the mobs will go away. no XP/Glimmer: that would be the ultimate farm spot. probably why they don't give goodies.
-
It's great. All I can say is nova bomb + bloom = endless wreckage! Now if only those guys dropped glimmer.
-
Its fun. So why not? Its one of my favorite Strikes just because how crazy it can get sometimes.
-
Dude. Ignore the haters. They're all kids and this is how they get their giggles. It's no biggie.
-
Just like for Omnig'ul,lazy game design. Artificial difficulty, close quarter + shit ton of foes.
-
The yellow enemies dont even give glimmer what a waste of time!
-
"do we really need that many enemies?" yes, yes we do
-
Bring on the waves!
-
The strike would be a very short strike without all the waves of ultras coming at you. For an exclusive it not something to brag about, feels like it was thrown together real quick
-
5 RepliesYou gotta clear the first wave out as fast as you can so you could rush by the rest, that's the only logical way cause I'm not spending 20+ minutes fighting ultras and majors that don't drop glimmer

3 RepliesEdited by Tallowby: 1/5/2015 7:48:21 PMCan't wait for when it is the Nightfall strike...... Can we ask for no burn for that week as well..

Edited by highlander1590: 1/5/2015 7:49:05 PMIt is really time consuming more than anything else. If you have the right gear you just keep plugging away. Like some folks have said it is much harder than the end! But . . . once again those people who have played it enough have found some short cuts. Yup . . . once you dispose of the boss at that section you can take off to the left and move along avoiding a couple or 3 new waves. That being said you still have to get by all the enemies between you and the turn to the left. If you go between waves it is pretty easy . . . and if you have a Warlock with Sunsinger Fireborn it is a piece of cake. After that you can also simply jump over the last set of enemies before the end and go to the final battle. I have done this strike about 30 times now and really like it so I don't always skip sections. One other thing about this strike . . . they really, really should give much better rewards at the end. In my opinion everyone who finishes should get a legendary engram (for all of their skill, time and trouble). By doing this they would also keep a full fire team. How many times have you done this strike when someone drops out right away at the start because they don't want to spend all of their time on it?
-
Dude its not difficult.
-
4 RepliesUse a vex consumable if you want a lot of glimmer
-
2 RepliesI actually like that 'staircase part', because - MASSIVE ORB SPAM!! UNLIMITED SUPER TIME!!
-
Thats not even the worst part of that strike. The worst part is that aside from the end, after going thru skywatch, it is litteraly the same story missions, just swap enemy factions around and add more of them. I dont remember the mission names.

Would like to be able to get glimmer off of those ultras pouring down the steps lol
