What Hand Cannon do you use?
I'm about to buy a hand cannon which hand cannons do you guys use. I heard The Devil You Don't was pretty good.

A rotation between Thorn which I just got and is amazing pvp, hawkmoon because hawkmoon, and Fatebringer Hawkmoon and thorn are my go to pvp weapons. I have the devil you don't but the 5 rounds is laughable. I'm gonna buy the crucible hand cannon and it'll probably be my main for pve so I can use g horn of ice breaker

1 ReplyI use: Hawkmoon - When I do Deadman's Hand bounty. Thorn: When I do PostMortem bounty I really wish I can get my hand on FateBringer since it's not an exotic and that gun seems to be awesome in PvE but as a Mic-less person it's really hard to get a team to do VoG ever though I already finish it once on normal.

Edited by m00ninite: 1/5/2015 7:12:43 PMDo NOT buy TDYD from the vendor. It is horrific by comparison to TFWPKY 1969 (Crucible vendor) or The Chance (FWC) unless you're solely trying to play PvP with it and enjoy the faster firing low impact style.

The devil you know. I feel bad for all the Xmas noobs who will never know him. It will always be great in PvP due to damage not mattering.

Since you say about buying, my exp on purple HCs so far TDYD - fast fire rate. low mag and less impact (than slow firing HCs). but bonus on last round. 1-2 kills max at a time (PvP) TFWPKY1969 - much better if keeping a slight distance. Much higher impact than others. Mine rolls with stability and reload perks so its awesome, go to weapon. Vendor one ain't so bad either. 10 clip mag. Almost same stats as LHF (awesome gun, but can't buy anymore I think?) The Chance: 'Good overall sorts' but low clip size. If you keep a bit of distance and get headshots consistently, and don't mind the slight slower fire rate get TFWPKY1969. If you roll with a team/have backup get TDYD. I'm always solo - PvP and PvE, just so you know reasons for preferences.

I use Hawkmoon 2.0 and thorn 2.0 but stick mostly with Hawkmoon. Both are good weapons though.

TDYD is terrible. Definitely not a good but. I always use The Last Word. It's a beaut.

Just received Hawkmoon 1.0 last night from Atheon. Hopefully Xur brings the upgrade again soon. Thing still hits like a truck not even upgraded. Luck in the chamber seems like it does over 30% damage boost.
