It's not cheating. Some people are better with controllers some are better with KB/Mouse. Are you saying people that use controllers on PC games are cheaters?
I prefer mouse and keyboard because there are too many simultaneous actions that just can't be done on a controller.
I don't understand why kids would complain about this. If you prefer using a keyboard and mouse, instead of crying on forums, why not just.. Idk... Maybe.. use a keyboard and mouse?

I would like you to prove your point. Explain how it's different from modified controller? Any one could get one. Becuase I don't see thw difference. Should u be playing a PC if you want a mouse an keyboard. And before you say arw controller users on PC cheating. The dynamic of a PC is not universal hardware and software. Consoles are, everyone has more or less the same equipment same advantages and disadvantages

And I would like you to prove your point. You can't. Because this argument is driven solely on user preference. Which is why bungie will never attempt to govern it. I don't know why people keep comparing the situation to something else because it's not. Keyboard/mouse does not modify anything. It simply translates the input.

Does a lag switch not just... Translate input? Under your reasoning if using a lag switch wasn't again the rules it would be fair game to use. And I Have.. Clearly above.. Using external hardware or software to knowingly gain an unfair advantage over other people. If you have ever played a sport IRL you would understand.

A lag switch delays traffic across your network modifying your connection to the server. Here's how xim4 works: Left click -> translate -> right trigger (no modification).

The obvious difference is that you don't have to mod a controller to use a kb/mouse, whereas; you must mod a controller to have a modded controller.

Don't specifically have to modify am existing controller you could make your own and that would circumnavigate your logic. Would that be okay with you?

EDIT: The reason old headsets and arcade sticks and racing wheels that worked with ps3 no longer work with ps4 is because Sony has a new security check in the ps4. All devices that interact with the ps4 must have a chip sold by sony in order to bypass that security check. The fact i can plug my xim into my ps4 and have it work tells me Sony sold the makers of xim these chips. That is as official as an input device can get.
