noobs get out of hard raid
I'm getting so sick of people saying they are hard raid experienced and they can not do any of the following:
Complete confluxes
Not die every check point
Can't get through gorgons with out getting caught every gorgon
Complete the platform jumps
Not die on the first phase of gatekeepers
Solo either Mars or Venus
Hold a plate with out dying
Not die before atheon even ports people
Know how to use a relic
Not shoot rockets in the bubble
Throw grenades on Venus or rockets
Use oracle disruption weapons
If you can't do any of these things you don't rate to run hard raid. Those of us who can are getting sick of adding time to raids to carry you. Please please stay in normal mode.

Everyone started out as a noob. You either play alot and discover/learn the mechanics and then refined your tactics or you get someone to teach you. We started out since day one, we have the luxury to test out many stuff without snobbish behavior from the elites. Those people who just owned the game over xmas, they are not here to be discriminated. Learn to be patient and teach the young ones.

I'm sorry but everyone can solo mars or Venus by themselves even if you are experienced. The main thing is communication. That's is all. And to explain the process. Hello people did just buy the fame over the holiday. Don't discriminate

You need to stop being a whiny jackass and help these noobs learn how to use the relics, teach them the patterns and shepherd them through it. I was USELESS in the raid until people allowed me to pick up the relic and attempt some trial and error on my own. Now, I'm invincible with the relic, can get through the gorgons flawlessly a multitude of ways, comfortably cross the chasm (dying sometimes is attributed to destiny deciding that I "bounce" whenever I hit the floor) and solo those stupid portals. You were useless too your first times around but someone probably explained it to you or you were allowed to make your mistakes. The only thing I will say to the noobs is this: LISTEN TO THE EXPERIENCED PLAYER'S INSTRUCTIONS.

Jeez a player with two 31 level characters and a 32 level character and you complain??? Stop your crying !!! I'm pretty sure you had a learning curve like the rest of us so take 5 minutes out of your bounty grinding schedule to give some kids a break and explain what's needed to done to complete an area in a raid.quit being a dick

Instead of being an entitled baby. Why not teach the noobs how to do the raid properly. God forbid it costs you an extra 15 minutes of game time.

2 RepliesWhy not join a clan or create one That's what I did instead of having to find reliable randoms. Now we do raids easily every week on normal and hard without problems unless a team of mine doesn't have 6 for some rare reason.

Bump! I will help the normal noobs but you take the jump to hard you need to know what you are doing... You can watch it on the internet ffs don't join and say yeah I know what I'm doing and feck it up for the everyone else...

How about helping them. It's a team activity. People generally get better with training. Or are you a complete selfish jerk?

1 ReplyI'm not saying I won't help here and there but when you come into the hard raid and haven't the slightest clue on what is going on I don't have time for you. So sick of people picking up the relic and immediately saying " which button cleanses?" It's things like this that show you aren't ready for hard raid. Next time you request to join/create a hard raid put out s disclaimer: Looking for experienced players for hard raid. I can't run the relic and I will always die round one of confluxes, I need a group of solid players to carry me.

Now if you want to attempt hard raid and you can not stay alive for 10 second, don't know how to protect the conflux don't know how to use relic... Please don't ever invite me to your group.

Just recently got Flawless Raider 2 manning the Crota raid lol Gonna suck likely needing to get people again when Hard Mode comes out. I was just in a Crota group helping a friend kill Crota, and when they were all in the party everyone started spouting off about what cheeses/glitches we were doing, oh we could do this and that! The whole time I was just like, naahhh we don't need to do that shit.. "We can glitch crota, you use your router to do it", to which I replied, "Nah let's just kill crota it's -blam!-ing easy..." and despite their incompetence, and lack of communication, somehow we killed him first attempt. I've been doing the sword since the raid came out on both my hunters, so I have a lot of experience with it. I basically had to guess when to go up to hit Crota because dps on him was soo poor, and there was no one telling me his shield %. They need to make Clans a more viable thing, or have some sort of system in place that makes being in a clan more valuable. I've joined a few clans but they aren't organized and there's no communication so when it comes to raids it's always just finding randoms. Playing with a regular group of players helps a lot when it comes to clearing raids, weeklies etc. Need more incentive for clans in my opinion, that will help get rid of all those problems you listed when people are more inclined to join clans and play with the same people/people in their clan.

This. No one bothers to learn the shield and sword anymore. I HATE when I'm not ported at atheon and the 3 guys inside argue on who will grab the shield and then promptly die
