To the guy who kicked my brother
It's the normal circumstance, he got kicked for being a 29. While that is understandable, you didn't need to be a coward and not say a word to him. My brother has Autism and things like that really upset him. He did not deserve that. He would have left if you had of said "i only want level 30's bud, sorry" but no, you were a coward, twice, and booted him. I hope you get five strange coins for weeks for your Nightfall rewards. And to everyone else, please remember this when you boot someone, you don't know whats on the other end of that microphone.
Edit: For those that think he shouldn't be playing online games, it's one of the only social interactions he can take normally, and it really upsets him to be booted without cause, if you don't know anyone with autism, or are related to anyone with this disability, you simply won't understand
Edit 2: for people saying he's a "scrub" that 29 was his alternate that he made about a week ago, which is why he is not 30 yet
Edit 3: It's good to see that there are some really good people on these forums, the good is for sure outweighed by the bad here. I appreciate it, and so does he guys
Edit 4: Kind of off topic, but he just hit 30! Finally haha
Edit 5: The point of this post was to say that we do not know who is on the other side of that internet connection, and we should try and be courteous to people, not to say that my brother should get special treatment because of his Autism or that people should automatically know he is autistic.

1 ReplySo I might be the asshole. Was playing nightfall a couple days a go and someone joined into me and a friends group, didn't join our chat party. I booted him once. I backed out at the hive section to switch to my level 29 warlock, my main is a 32 Titan which I was using to go through quickly. Anyways I came back and another one of my friends had joined in and guess who was back, the guy who I booted. One of my friends had to leave to make room for me. So I let the guy stay till omnigal was at 25% and booted him and let my friend join. Was it a dick move for me to let him stay and take down omnigal to 25%, maybe, but I think the majority of people wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing and got booted. The guy name was snake with a bunch of numbers after it. If If this was your brother it was nothing personal against him, I don't have anything against people with autism.

Thats messed up I personally dont kick anyone unless they are being disrespectful to me and my friends and I do play with ppl who have some sort of disability but I think society as a whole lost sight and don't think about what is going on with other ppl and they dont think past those who they interact with in there circle and expect that everyone is the same as them. Im sorry that has happened to your brother and im sure the guy didnt mean any harm by what he did. But it is still rude to boot someone without an explanation. And those who are being negative please grow up and think how you would feel if you had a relative with a disability of some sort and theu became upset because of who they were treated? Im sure you wouldnt be calling them a scrub and stuff.

I dont know how severe his autism stage is, but I know autism patients that seem absolutely normal and usually want to be treated like normal ppl and dont want any "special" treatment bcoz of that defect. I mean if he can comunicate well enough then fine, but there are always two sides for every coin and a fireteam leader or person that builds up a raid team has all right to not accept levels or classes if he doesnt wants to without being obliged to apologize or notice the invited person. Avoid that by making his/your own teams and be the one who decides. Simple...

It's not healthy to keep a grudge, not saying you are. I'm sure that if the people had known of the situation that they would've acted differently. But they didn't know what they were doing. They meant no harm. Not saying you're wrong for being mad, I love and respect you sticking up for your family, I'm just trying to lighten the situation on the end that can't speak for itself.

Sorry to read what happened to Your brother. Anyone should be given a reason and be asked politely to let others join unless you are behaving badly. I had also suffer this on the basis of not speaking French, I haven't go properly or really to Crota's End and the day I got invited I got booted just because I didn't speak French even when I was documented and prepared and had one friend who speaks English. You should share their IDs in order to ban them.

I just started new characters but will run a raid or any other m is soon to help anyone. I could care less about having already done it as long as we have a good time accomplishing something.
