Who's GF also HATES Destiny ?
My Mrs insists on calling Destiny '' that stupid game '' .... I try and get on 3 or 4 days a week and no matter when it is it's always ''that stupid game'' !!

She even tried playing it to get into it with me but nearly shit her pants when the very first Dregs dropped out on her on mission 1
She said '' this is too scary '' and left . LOL

1 ReplyThat's too bad for you guys. My fiance and I play the game quite a bit. I join his friends he joins mine. Etc. Currently leveling up so I can hit some raids and strikes with everyone. The game is addictive if you like FPS. Moderation is good though lol :-)

My girlfriend says "that game again". And I say "yup, let me just finish this mission..." As you can tell, it's strike after strike or whatever. She quickly gets the message. Only ever on an hour or so after she complains, then I come off it, set up for another day.

My girlfriend -blam!-ing hates this game too. She's sleeping right next to me and that's the only time I can really play or use the forums. Netflix has been a Godsend on my iPad because it keeps her busy. I barely play when she's over because I'm just tired of her bitching about "your game". Then when I play after she goes to sleep, she bitches because I won't come to bed and cuddle her to sleep. I JUST WANT TO NOVA BOMB SHIT IN MY FREE TIME, BABE. IS THAT OKAY WITH YOU? Tldr; -blam!- bitches, play Destiny.

Mine used to, but she's learned to accept i';m a hardcore gamer, and I've learned to spend more focused time with her. Plus she got a tablet for Christmas and that has been a godsend because she can play her little games and use pintrest or watch movies while I play.

My gf despises this game. She played it a few times, had her do some missions, a patrol, some deathmatch. Each time she liked it a little bit more, but she still -blam!-ing hates it. So every time she comes over and I'm playing she asks if we can play fifa instead. That can be fun, or it can turn into her yelling at the tv "Come on Tim!" every time Howard let's up a goal lol sometimes I just wanna be like " that one wasn't Tim's fault, nor was it my fault"

4 RepliesMy boyfriend is an avid WoW player. He hates Destiny because he think it ripped too much from WoW (Thrall, Motes, Void Walker). Also thinks it's "too easy" because the raids only take 1-2 hours. He is AWFUL at any shooter.

1 ReplyMy wife hates this game bad. But at the same time part is our faults if we just focus on the game or make time for the game but we don't make time for the wife specially if you have kids. The wife also wants 1 on 1 time without the kids. In my case I admit that I've tried to make more time play destiny than to sit down and spend 1 on 1 time with her. So I can see why she gets upset. I got to balance both better and take her out on more dates just us coz when you take kids it's family time not 1 on 1 time. I know she loves me coz she puts up with it and at time tell me go play I'll watch the kid so I got to return the favor. Sorry for venting guys it was long day today. Pay more attention to wife and gf so you can get your destiny on more peacefully. Keep it going guardians.

5 RepliesWe ended up breaking up in part cause of this game. Same type things as you've said about it always being "stupid game" and other bs. She even played the game for a bit but was no good and then proceeded to be mad again whenever I played while she was home. She plays Diablo too, so it's weird she had such strange reactions to this game. I didn't play nearly at all the first month the game came out just because I was focused on how she was moving in with me and that was super distracting in the best of ways for a while. So yeah, long story full of many more details made short, Destiny is partly to blame for the failure of my last relationship.
