Everytime I don't get gjallahorn...
Every time I don't get gjallahorn it is just chipping away at me. I can only take so much more. I see people all around me receiving. People who are just awful. People who don't listen. People who just suck. They keep getting it. Its just devastating at this point.
Edit: At first as was like cool, everyone has the same opinion and its nice to see the community agree, but then the trolls came out of their cave and started wrecking this thread. Feel free to throw rocks at the trolls.

I don't want handouts, I don't expect everything. But this isn't real life. We play games because life sucks. This is our escape

1 ReplyI don't even care about the jellyhorn, for me it's suros, I first found out about it mid October, then xur sold it but I was a noob and couldn't afford it, every week since I've prayed xur will have it again and I end up disappointed. The reason I couldn't afford it that time was because I'd bought light beyond nemesis the week before and since then I've had 3 of those fukking ugly helmets, but no suros. I've seen it drop for others and every time I get so jealous it's insane. Like OP said, this shit is gradually eating away at me, and I wonder if I'll ever find true happiness....... *stares wistfully at the stars* *violin starts to play* *camera pulls back as screen fades to black*

WTF do I need with 6 raid helmets? I thought the game judges based on what u already have So wow yesterday rngesus was blessing me left n right . First i play nightfall n get suros next i.play crota n get arms again,skirt,n chest plate for my titan. Then i play with my hunter n get arms,legs. N shards ofcourse. Still no ghorn but last night was a really good night. Happy New Year everyone

I feel the same as you. When I get home sometimes I look at the Xbox and say forget it and sleep instead. I wake up refreshed, ready to go and think it will drop from 6 raid bosses, 6, raid chests, 3 nightfalls, 3 weeklies, or 3 dailies. I have seen my entire main group get the gjallarhorn drop. 18 actual friends in my group, 2 from crucible even. What is this? I'm starting to think if we stopped playing for a week, the game would give it to us.

I was giving up. Every week 3x nightfall. After months of endless hunting, I finally got it from the first chest of Crota's End. Believe! And pray to RNGesus every night.

In a 2 month span, I got 5 Icebreakers and 3 Gjallahorns. My buddy who raided and played with me during all this got 6 Vex's and 4 Black Hammers. I don't have vex or BH. He doesn't have IB or jelly. Stupid luck of the draw

That is the problem with a completion based RNG system. You can't set a bar as to when player will earn X because then it isn't random. Random is the easiest way to create a fair blanket system that isn't too easy to abuse. It sucks, but it's life. At least none of the loot is truly required to complete content outside of level requirements.

Dude I feel your pain. Except mines the icebreaker. I can't get it but I can get doubles of every other exotic I don't use. My luck is terrible. I have 112 radiant shards from shit drops from the new raid, I do however have all the raid weapons for now but can't get the gear or the icebreaker. And get this, last week beating Crota gave me a Thunderlord, this week got a Thunderlord from the first chest, then on my second character I got a dragons breath from the first chest, then a dragons breath AGAIN from Crota. So 2 dragons breaths from the same raid and 2 thunder lords. I mean I'm happy I finally got some exotics especially since the past 3 weeks nightfall has been giving me shards, energy and coins. But back to the point, I get doubles of exotics I don't even use but can't get the one gun I've been wanting since I first did the raid. (Which was weeks after he sold it, because I was a noob lvl 23 when xur had it and only had like 8 coins or so.)
