What is your issue ?
Can you not find raids ?
If you're sour that people have gear ...does it really matter as the raid is fairly easy and Gear will come!
If you don't like it, offer to assist others in need.

This game however offers itself to exploits,.. A grind that almost forces you to "play smart not hard!".

This is exploit like so many other exploits that people use in this game. That's it!
Cheating to me is knowingly taking advantage where others may not be able to take advantage!
Everyone can do just about all the stuff that's applicable.
I wouldn't go glitching off maps... Locating ghosts that bungie hasn't unlocked. (house wolves)
I also feel most true cheat issues are pvp related.
I would also never use an exploit/cheat in PVP as that's golden ban.
Not talking about wall hiding and shooting but heavy ammo glitch ect. Whatever else there is that lame bitches use in pvp to feel special.

Atheon push, templar push, nightfall cheese spots... That's just bad game design. But when you deliberately change something outwith the game, to cause a glitch in the game (much like the ammo glitch) is cheating.

I've done it legit a couple times but mainly cheese it most of the time. Why? Because I can.I bought the game and I'm going to play exactly how I play it.Being someone that was left out of many raids by my friends,I'll cheese him every time if necessary. And don't mention LFG,I don't plan to get a group together just for them to leave after we wipe 2-3 times. For me it's always been this logic,it doesn't matter how you reach the end goal,as long as you reach it,that's all that matters.and if someone doubts my skill,I'll gladly do it legit to show them otherwise.It's not my problem that bungie can't release a raid that can't be exploited.

I'm fine with the glitch but it's not that hard to do legit. As someone who prefers legit runs and tries to find groups on the forums I say fix this exploit. It's impossible to find a group doing it legit on these forums.

3 RepliesIt's an exploit. It trivializes the boss, almost completely bypasses him. What's the point in a boss if you don't have to fight him? Now every noob and his little sister are in the recruitment section looking for crota cheese. It's pathetic, the whole raid can be easy cheese mode it's so broken.

The game has design flaws that people exploit. Personally I don't care if people cheese the game, the only thing that matters is getting loot. That's the point of the game, and if bungie has a problem with it they have the power to remove or fix them instead of wasting time making the economy more of a drag on progression.

2 RepliesNot too sure what you are pointing out. You start by saying kneeling isn't cheating then follow up by saying leaving a nightfall too return is also cheating... Pick a side and stick to it, but don't play one side and say it's not cheating. Then agree that you do other things under the same pretence and knowingly cheat. For the record it doesn't matter to me what people do in this game. Do what makes you happy, but you're all over the place trying to defend yourself here. BTW. It is cheating. Sure, exploiting is what it is but that's the same thing. Who cares.....

When you start messing with server connections and networking you have crossed the line from cheesing and manipulating mechanics to possibly causing server/network damage (bugs, Etc). And flat out violation of ToS. Don't try to delude yourselves otherwise.

3 RepliesFirst off. It's not leaving fire team, it's leaving destiny completely. You are leaving the servers which entails hardware and software manipulation, it's not like pushing Atheon off at all. And as for your second edit. That's like saying everyone can cheat at poker so one guy hiding cards up his sleeve isn't cheating.

It really makes it hard to figure out which players can consistently work as a team and beat Crota legitimately, that's what's disappointing about it. Once this is patched and the hard raid comes out it's going to be so difficult to find a squad talented enough to complete the raid in less than 2-3 hours. Right now the raid, Deathsinger and all, can be done LEGITIMATELY(with the intended gameplay mechanics), in less than an hour with decent players. Good luck doing that on hard with people who cheesed it the whole way.

1 ReplyI've done the cheese. Don't care to waste time wiping with a pug otherwise. However I did 3 full clears today. Twice pugs did not know how to even do the Deathsinger event and cried and cried for someone to find a crota CP. One guy didn't know what the totems on the bridge do. I had one guy DC at Crota (who wasn't leader) and come back in and ask if he glitched it right. Then I realized it's going to be chaos when these things get patched. If you've done the whole of Crota normally, good on you. If you haven't, you should. The day will come when these easy modes won't be around and you'll be nothing but dead weight because you don't know how the fight is supposed to work in the first place.
