I remember when gaming developers sold you a whole game instead of selling you half a game and the rest via DLC.

  • When games had epic stories that lasted 30-40 hours instead of being a 4-9 hour advert for the multiplayer content.

  • Yup its -blam!-ing sad to see everyone releases unfinished games now just to sell you the rest a few months later. Id pay $100 for a complete gane upfront of what they showed vs being jerked around. If they left everything in destiny and gave it to us at release and said we are selling this game for 80 or 100 $ because we know its worth that and we believe you will two heres a DEMO free to play for 3 days with to total game unlocked. Id have said yes this is acceptable ill pay what they ask for it.

  • Yep, when I first saw dlc being sold I was massively against it and boycotted buying any for as long as i could, sadly halo 3 forced me to buy their dlc as i could no longer play the game types i liked without it. I could see where it would lead years ago and seems I was right its just destiny has taken it to a new level.
