We all have been in this situation; It's a hot day, maybe the traveler is brighter than normal so you decide it's time to take back the world of Destiny one strike boss at a time.
You join the Vanguard Roc playlist because Bungie -blam!-ed the tiger playlist. Lucky, 2 other brave guardians join you on your epic adventure. You run and run in excitement and clear the first area only to notice your teammates missing? Where did they go you wonder?
You can't seem to find them anywhere. Suddenly, you notice that they have not taken a step. You're confused. Maybe they have been taking control by the darkness? Or maybe they're sacks of shit?
Either way you report their asses for inactive and kill them with a sparrow for good measure.
You run off and complete the strike. They both receive the following: Gjallarhorn, the Vex and 100 trillion strange coins. You receive a bag of shit and a blue gun.
So, you wonder, maybe Bungie will ban them? To your horror you learn. It's actually the CEO of the Bungie and DeeJ who were playing with you.
So my question is this; What the hell does Bungie do with all those reported complaints? My theory is this. Bungie prints them out to use as toilet paper.
Tell me your thoughts.

I sometimes AFK the first few minutes of a strike just while I'm making a smoke. Once it's lit I'm back on my sparrow and on my way!

1 ReplyAbsolutely nothing. I've been afking since release and have had multiple people message me saying they reported me, I then give them the courtesy of informing them every day that I'm still playing. :)
-
I don't mind soloing strikes. Give me the xp.
-
1 ReplyThey hire them. I think it was Bill gates that said "i give the laziest person the hardest job because they will find the fastest way to complete it" Something like that...
-
I assume it requires a certain amount of reports, before they get banned.
-
17 RepliesReport someone for being inactive? Even banning someone for being inactive? The more I read these forum's topics, the more i realize i play in an environment saturated by ppl who's sense of logic never properly developed and at this point, hope in that ever happening is close to 0.
-
Lol I take my time till they get afk or leave lol I never finish till they are gone.
-
2 Repliesdelete their inbox unless its a true hack, i doubt they will care

You run off and complete the strike. They both receive the following: Gjallarhorn, the Vex and 100 trillion strange coins. You receive a bag of shit and a blue gun.
sounds/reads typical of their reward system.

4 RepliesI report people for being awesome. Helpful, Friendly, & Highly Skilled. Why? Because I know that the system is normally only used by impatient teenage pieces of shit so I figure I'll give the Moderators, if there are any, something different to look at.
-
1 ReplyNothing, I think the person has to get reported by multiple people several times before they do anything.
-
3 RepliesReport for inactivity? Ever hear of a bathroom brake or a snack brake. Get over yourself bud
-
2 RepliesHahaha cant stop laughing, post of the year nominee right here
-
1 ReplyBoosts their drops
-
3 RepliesThey get very angry with them, and then they write them a letter telling them how angry they are with them.
-
1 ReplyI personally think that reporting does nothing. In my opinion it does nothing but give a placebo effect that the people who do nothing will get punished. I mean I have not heard any details from Bungie on how that system works (unless I missed something). It's just there to be there but doesn't do anything.
-
3 RepliesThey get 30 seconds before I commence "the sparrow ram!".
-
1 ReplyHa! You haven't even seen real problems of this is what you are whining about.
-
2 RepliesThey put them next to the letters to Santa.
-
1 ReplySpam filter. Never get seen.
-
9 Repliesi think we just need a kick option for the fire team leader. that way at least you could get rid of the inactive player in the hope of someone else joining. or just hang about in 1 area for 15 minutes and wait for them to get kicked for inactivity. make sure you keep moving about though.

2 RepliesMy girl and me were playing two nights ago and the third guy helped all the way to the boss then climbed and hid and went afk. We pushed him down and pushed him into boss and had him died about 20 times and then we finished the boss. We thought about leaving him there but we were almost done. He got blues anyways
-
2 RepliesI report them as AFK then I took the advice of fellow guardians and continuously ram them into the wall.
-
1 ReplyYou know those coins that Xur eats, the ones that are a little bit alive, they are made from the dark hearts of banned Guardians who AFK strikes and cheese Crota. *nods*
-
I think they throw you in an area in the game with all of the content and story left to rot

1 ReplyThis is a great rendition of a horrible nightmare.
