I've just bought this gun, and honestly it feels like I just bought aids. The gun... What the actual f*ck, the zoom is retarded, and the cocking speed is just...

The thing that bugs me the most is the zoom. It has no scope, yet it zooms in as much as a mid-zoom scope. If I wanted that much zoom, I'd pick a sniper with a scope on it, our better yet, a sniper with a snappy scope so I get less zoom. How messed up is that? To get a lower zoom, I have to pick a sniper with a scope on it.

I was one-shotting everything except bosses in Hand of Crota but was easily overrun when there was much agro. Good gun, interesting idea but too slow to use as a primary. This would be awesome as a secondary gun.

Yeah it's a bit dumb. If they tried to go for an old Mosin-Nagant style. They first got the zoom wrong (scope design is different). And also, a proficient sniper (which I'm assuming as a Guardian you would be), would have a much higher rate of racking the slide. It's a cool idea to have a bolt action, but poor logistics. Unless it was buffed to one shot one kill style gun.

The sights are the only flaw with the gun. If it got less clunky iron sights, it'd be a pretty good gun.

First of all, it's "No Land Beyond." And second of all, if you get a kill in crucible with it it becomes a one shot kill because of it's perk "the master."
