Maybe it's not your type of gun. I used to be all about auto rifles. I gave Devil You Know a try and figured I liked the 1 shot headshot kills in pve. I gave the Thorn a try. It's now my main primary.

Change the batteries. With some fresh duracells in there you'll change your tune.

Have to disagree with you there. Thorn is an amazing hand cannon with great range. Plus the mark of devour perk is awesome as well.

Precision shots that over pin and give the mark. Normally I shoot a enemy once and forget about them because the mark finishes them if my headshot didn't.

I suspect you are not the only one but in a minority. In the Crucible and Iron Banner it is an awesome weapon. Kdr of 4.0 with win and top player score of over 6k - and the only rounds i fired were from a ( not maxed out) Thorn Give it a chance. If you are playing pve then there are better weapons but everyone has their own style and preferences for loadout. Be patient , or break it and use something else. P.s - for those struggling in the crucible the 500 void kills are easy if you can get a prism schism fusion rifle and a Deviant Gravity from Dead Orbit. The level26 Summoning pits - now that is a ballache!!
