Help! Need help with Xür (Warlock)
Should I upgrade my Sunbreakers or get Claws of Ahamkara?

Claws are beast. I have it fully upgraded. Destroys in PvP with the melee hits.

I never bought the sunbreakers. I do like the claws. Double melee explosions or double shield, with sunsinger you can have two grenades and two melee charges. I still kinda prefer voidfang for voidwalker, the extra seeker is nice on the grenade. The special weapon loader perk is a letdown with Icebreaker though. ;)

Both. :) I like the sunbreakers in the vault. Keeps the hordes back a bit longer. Claws are nice for that eris bounty asking you to get 50 solar kills.

Claws. Resurrect and double melee shield makes you a tank. Since I got mine I rarely die with my warlock in pve and crucible has gotten better (I'm still shit at both).

I'd say it depends what situation you're in. Assuming you only have those two exotics, the sun breakers are better for the raid where you can grenade spam the thralls in the maze to hold the plate at the end (or survive if it gets a bit rough) and create orbs for the sword bearer on Crota fight. Claws would be better for pvp where melee is useful but if you're only doing bounties/ patrol/ strikes than whatever you think looks best cause both will work.

3 RepliesId upgrade the sunbreakers, ive got the claws but you're better off with grenade replenishing faster than a faster melee attack. Plus the sunbreakers look better.

I chose claws because scorch has saved my ass many times and I prefer using fusion grenades. And the fact that the claws work for both void walker and sunsinger is nice.

Get claws. The sunbreakers have a bad stat roll this week

1 ReplyDo both. Why choose? They both have unique perks. You can swap them out whenever you want.

Buy claws. I use claws/HoPF for Sunsinger, Obsidian Mind for Voidwalker.
