just bought $300 headsets?
I just treated myself to a pair of astro a50s. Whats your opinion on spending 300$ on a pair of 7.1 dolby surround sound headsets?

Just played some games in battlefield 4 and let me tell you i feel like im inside the game with all the explosions and gunfire. Feel like im inside the movie saving pvt. ryan.
Final Edit :
Im returning these tomorrow and getting the a40s. The a50s sound amazing but i can get the same crispy quality with the a40s and not have to worry about charging them every 6hours. I also think the a50s are more prone to technical problems then the a40s. They seem delicate and the fact that they are wireless makes it even more vulnerable to technical failure in the future ( they're not even wireless) as they require a chat cable. So in reality I'm paying more money for no reason when the a40s are the same thing if not better.

I've heard bad things about Turtle Beach. Astros are leading in virtual surround sound at the moment. I have purchased two pairs of Trittons. One was the Tritton AX Pro, and the other was the Tritton AX. They actually have 4 dedicated speakers in each cup for true 5.1 surround sound. I loved them, but I have tried virtual and they sound just as good. I also have a pair of PS Gold's and I love them too. For the price, can't beat em.

2 RepliesIf you want them get them. I have a pair of Turtle Beach XOSEVEN's, and I also have the Steel Series Siberia v2's for my gaming Laptop (Asus - G750JX) I like quality, and I was impressed with Turtle Beaches when I got my X11's many many years ago. (Still work perfectly).

i use PX4 for my PC and love them. Did not spend a lot ether, got em on sale for 89 bucks. Sound is very good especially movies/music. The Mic quality is good as well. I am not one to buy expensive headsets because i have learned they break just as if not easier.

7 Replieswent for the Turtle Beach PX4 as I had to have a wireless headset. the review came out about the same for the astros, so I went with the cheaper option. Best headset ever. Seperate volume controls for in game and chat.
