Most underrated weapons for Crucible
Most Crucible games these days are populated almost entirely by Suros Regime, Thorn, Vex Mythoclast, or other "Top Tier" Exotics and Legendaries. But there are a lot of overlooked guns that can perform very well in PvP. My personal favorite gun for the Crucible is actually the rare Shingen-E. I got an awesome roll on one of mine of Rangefinder and Fitted Stock, so I really enjoy using it on other guardians! What other overshadowed guns are out there that are great or fun to use in the Crucible?
Edit: Wow! First page trending! It's awesome how so many guardians are coming together to talk about some good, fun, and different weapons!

Since numbers don't matter, except in IB, the stats on the new weapons you get as a reward for competing in the Crucible and in Strikes are very good. Don't be afraid of them even if they are blue.

The Khvostov 7G-02. 27 damage headshots. Polite Denial 0/1 (94 Impact HCs in general) gives a 2 shot kill w/ headshots. Scatter Grenade (not a gun but deserves a a mention) for voidwalker. Can one hit enemies, and can do so reliably. No need to stick. Just chuck it at someone's feet, OHK.

Sidewinder Mk. 3 It is a rare shotgun, but in normal crucible, not iron banner, it totally wrecks

1 ReplyAfter a bunch of you guys responded to my topic suggesting the Stranger's Rifle I went and gave it a shot. Definitely changed my perspective on pulse rifles! It's actually a very good gun and criminally underrated! I hope I can get the Praedyth's Timepiece to try that out too

4 RepliesPeople barely use it but the B-Line Trauma is a scout rifle that deserves more love. It fires faster than VoC and most other scouts and it hits well. The ROF is what sets it apart. But the crucible rolls are meh, so random rolls would help.

No land beyond... I like to match it with invisibility for Hunter because it makes the gun disappear plus don't know if ppl have noticed but I have (especially when inviz) the sights will have a red dot when in a critical shot of anything guardian or non-guardian...which snipers should be getting crits soooo in my opinion it's a good gun real fun to use!

11 RepliesBADGER CGL or something (New DLC scout rifle) It's awesome, 3 headshots and you're done. Overpowers auto rifles, pulse rifles, and slow hand cannons. Has good range, impact, and stability with a decent fire rate.

The random legendary hand cannons. Everybody is using hawkmoon, last word and thorn, but I do pretty well with my Lord High Fixer. It has range finder third eye and flared magwells, so good reload, great range when ads and third eye is just beautiful.

I have a scout rifle that has half fire rate. Decently good. Lower impact so it could improve there. But it fires quick!!

Khvostov is amazing in the crucible I've used it since I began playing the crucible with my level 4 Hunter and now it's my main gun I use, that and the Galhad-E and the Bronzed Miyamoto-D

I use a Galahad-E in crucible, but a scout rifle in pve

The Shingen is great. I remember using it before I got my Shadow Price. The Khvostov is also pretty decent in the regular pvp, if you can believe it.
