Crucible is 90% Hunters, sigh.
leave it to human nature to pick the easiest class available with the most OP super. it feels like every game there is a continual amount of blade dancers and golden gun spam running about

Made a hunter about a week ago. I ran crucible with him over the weekend. I was able to go from God-awful (with my Warlock) to merely terrible with my hunter. It's a great crucible class. People are just using what works.

3 RepliesLet's be honest, apart from the Supers, which tbh isn't that OP, I think hunters are massively below par when compared to Titans and Warlocks in the crucible. Both Titans and Warlocks have better melee specials. (Scorch, Drain, Storm Fist, Barrier, even Shoulder Charge) Hunters get a poxy throwing knife, and blink strike. Both Titans and Warlocks have much better grenades (Lightening grenade, Fusion grenade, Axiom bolt) We have to make do with trip mines, which are really bloody easy to dodge/avoid. And tbh, I think the supers are far better; You've got Fist of Panic and Nova Bomb, which are insta kills 99% of the time, and you've got self revive and THEN a full super use for sunsingers, and ward of dawn for the Titans which are a really good support super for control. We've got golden gun, which I'll agree is a little OP in the way it's a one shot kill, but even then we have to find someone, aim and shoot when we've still got normal health and can easily be killed. We've also got blade dancer which, tbh, isn't that hard to counter if a team focusses fire on the user, you need to get up close for it to be effective. This is coming from a player with 2 hunters and a Titan - dress wearing warlocks are the bane of my existence. In my opinion Hunters are geared more for PVE.

I have every class, and I play every class in crucible. and i promise, it is well balanced. I hate when I hear anyone complain about a certain class being OP when they dont even have that class, and have never experienced its downfalls. A good warlock will beat an average hunter, and a good hunter will beat an average warlock.... it all comes down to the player behind the controller.
