The community manager, as with any game community, relays information from the community to the developers, and vice-versa.
Either there is no new information to be said to the community, or he hasn't been told what to say.
It's also only been 4 days? What's the big deal? You get the weekly update today, anyway, which is [b]written[/b] by DeeJ.

I would've been somewhat satisfied with a forum post saying "we know there are lots of issues, we are discussing it, stay tuned" even Silence is strange though
