I wonder what Deej and the development team would have to say about this, probably something along the lines of 'Huh, well that was, ummmmmm, looks like we're not as smart as we thought' This video actually just rubs shit in their faces. Raids need coordination, Raids need team work, Raids are the pinnacle of our design ideas. HA yeah right. Bungie = Scrubs!
That was awesome dude. I really enjoyed watching you destroy it. Even decided to try soloing the first two parts, got through the first but that darn bridge gave me trouble. Swords disappeared too fast.
Is there a damage buff from playing with one player compared to six. There was a pretty big one in VoG when playing with two instead of six because I could one-shot vex with fatebringer on hard with only two players
As amazing as this is, I used it as a guide and have made it through the first part by myself - obviously it's the easiest part but it is still pretty difficult. I challenge every hunter to do it. It just took some time watching the OP do it and about 50min worth of tries and I finally got it!!!
Funny story, I didn't even need patients and time. Here was my build:
Maxed agility build with a second focus in armor! Shadow jack is a must and you must use the invis option on blink strike! Also I used the invis option on arc blade - probably a must as well...
MIDA Multitool for the speed boost and easy headshots. Helped a lot when fully weighted down!
Special weapon isn't super important, but just in case I used murmur for the extra sliding distance.
For a heavy - use any rocket launcher with several shots. I used a maxed unfriendly giant.
If you get into a rhythm you can practically stay invis the entire time. But quick tip, don't go invis until you are seen - they will all gather around where they last saw you and you can use that as a distraction, also it saves your invis time for when you really need it.
After a while you figure out the best way to get through with your invis abilities and then when you make it to the bridge here is an easy way to wait:
Go hide behind the rocks to the right after activating the bridge, turning invis right after as well. Soon the thralls will start looking for you, and will find you if you stay there so instead of hiding, I run back to the bridge and go invis - all the thrills will chase you and group up at the bridge... Wait till your invis drops and fire a rocket at the massive group killing them all. Go invis again and then the bridge should be done - it only takes 2ish minutes. Try to save your arc blade for crossing the bridge, but use it if you need the extra wait time.
It was super fun, addicting and challenging but I did it. Hope this helps all the hunters out there who try :)
Thanks for reading guardians!
well shyt, hats off to ya, the ultima pve player. Two manned Vog and solo'd VoG. I cant solo any raids or will i attempt to. Ill jus continue dominance in the crucible i suppose lol. Whats this say abt Bungie tho lol? Fix the raids.
edit: to everyone else...quit -blam!-ing hating on this man/lady
Newsflash: weekly update delayed due to removal of hunter class. Bungie rep says: "soloing the raid no matter how impressive, is not how we intended the raid to be played. The hunter class will be removed and if it comes back it will be after we've coded the thrall to have infrared vision. But fear not. All of you former hunters will now have a level 1 character of either the warlock or titan class to grind up to level 20 and we have put a shiny green engram in your Vault that will unlock for you once you do."
