Sooooo Husk of the Pit... MUST READ
After being in patrol for 3 hours on Earth and hunting down 20+ swords in multiple different spawns, i decided to try my luck on the mission.
Well i just broke 30+ tries on that lol have tried it on multiple characters,black wax, no black wax, headshot kill, body shot kill, grenade kill, mele kill, different elemental kills, super kills, and the list goes on.
I kneel before you RNGesus, a desperate and broken man, hoping one day you will bless me with this weapon of amazingness. For now though i concede defeat. Til next time.

I've gotten 3 within a few hours of each other. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I was in the lunar complex when I got them.

Switch to an alt and try. I did no joke about 50 swords on my main and never got it. Raged and started to level my alt and the 3rd sword bearer I downed dropped

1 ReplyI have 3! I think the trick is to not farm it, each time I have got it from running the fist of crota multiple times whilst completing the Eris bounties.

I have dropped 4 husks so far. Wish I had more luck on other drops thou.

A friend of mine got two of them in his first 3 Blade of Crota kills while patrolling. My brother has killed hundreds, and still doesn't have one yet. RNG sucks.

Did you do ot on lvl28 or 24? I ran it about 9 times on 28 and it dropped same for 2 other mates of mine..hope thos helps

I got both of mine from the Fist Of Crota Mission on Hard. They both sit in the vault.

Got it from patrolling the Moon for five minutes and killing the first Blade of Crota I found. ... Yep.

Same thing happened to me I know your pain spent many hours grinding the mission over and over got it after 4+ hours but you will get it soon don't give up

I never farmed for it. Just did Eris bounties and it dropped.

Just do your bounties and kill blades when they appear and you will get it. Never farmed a day and got 3 already. I also have terrible luck with RNG so yea stop farming you will get it.

Don't waste any items on certain rituals. Just kill it and repeat. It's a random drop, doesn't matter if you do an upside down dance on the ceiling while tying your shoelaces.

Didn't even try to get mine. I was patrolling the moon and got it. Both of my friends got it by just playing the game as well
