Hot Fix 1.1.0.2 Helmet drop introduction - what about us that did our raids today?!?!
So without any kind of warning Bungie are patching the new raid helmet into the crota end loot table which i now assume means the hardcore raiders who smash out 2-3 raids upon the Tuesday reset will miss out for a week at any chance of having a helmet drop.
Deej you say you are always listening - that is just terrible community management. This patch and what it entails wasn't just developed today - you knew what what was coming and some prior warning that raid helmets would be patched into the normal mode would have been appreciated so that hardcore raiders wouldn't rush to finish it.

i had that exact problem the the raid 3 times after refresh. get on the next day find out they patched in the helmet. wtf bungie couldn't patch it in before the reset?

2 RepliesEven though i agree with the "get a job, go to bed, don't be Cartman-brah" comments i'll say things a little more diplomatically. You are an outlier. The majority of people who play this game (you know the other millions of people) probably don't play in the am hours of the good ol' US of A. When you have a world wide game like this you're bound to upset some gamers. I'm thinking the devs realize this and just push out content when the CAN knowing full well that someone will be upset. Try and keep this in mind, it may help with the rage :)

1 ReplyDon't worry, they screwed up the loot system with the hotfix, All you get now throughout the raid is Radiant Materials now and they've stopped the guaranteed Weapon drop from Crota. You were better off doing it before the hotfix.

2 RepliesThe raid isn't going anywhere, and you got rewards already from your completions. Giving YOU double rewards would be BS, not them adding something in you weren't supposed to have yet anyway. Use the shards to level up what you already have or save them for when you get the helmet drop. It's not that serious bro.

Then get a life and don't do the raid right at reset jeez you have 7 days to get it done and the helm only drops on crota as far as I know

So let me get this straight. Now we are complaining that there are more options for getting our characters to max level. So if RNGesus blesses you with the new helm you could use a different exotic armor. The things this community comes up with to feel slighted about astound me. Stay Salty Guardians

1 ReplyNine hours after reset they drop a hotfix. Yeah that sucks. 6 hours in I already had three full raids, three nightfalls and three weekly. If I had known this was coming Id have just waited until tonight.

Use an exotic FFS. You need 63 rad shards as it is - that's a bigger bottleneck than a helmet you DO NOT NEED.

I did all 2 of my characters raids right at reset then they wait Til now for this hot fix and I have to wait a full week to try and get the helmet now. Such bullshit
