Hot Fix 1.1.0.2 Helmet drop introduction - what about us that did our raids today?!?!
So without any kind of warning Bungie are patching the new raid helmet into the crota end loot table which i now assume means the hardcore raiders who smash out 2-3 raids upon the Tuesday reset will miss out for a week at any chance of having a helmet drop.
Deej you say you are always listening - that is just terrible community management. This patch and what it entails wasn't just developed today - you knew what what was coming and some prior warning that raid helmets would be patched into the normal mode would have been appreciated so that hardcore raiders wouldn't rush to finish it.

Seems those who can 'smash out 2 to 3 raids' in a day really won't have that much trouble getting the helmet ;)

1 week , what else you got to do . May not have even gotten it . You gotta think , they are probably rushing around trying to think how to make people happy again . The helm may or not have been planned for later so people would have something to try and acquire later . Why keep on if you have it all. Who knows , but it's a safe bet to think that it and the mysterious appearance of husk of pit post patch are them dropping in items for us to look at to get. Glass half full~ be glad they got it in now...

Well.... in 3 months from now if you still don't have a helmet because of RNG, will you still be talking about that one week you did the raid where that could have been a drop but wasn't? It's only week 2 so chances are there is still plenty of gear you don't have. I'd understand if this was week 9 and you have everything you can from the normal raid and can't do the hard raid for some reason.

Yea me and my friends did the raid 3 times after reset. Thanked every1 and wished them a good day. Went to work, got home pretty late and was greeted with an 1.2mb update.. 3 secs later party invite with "they added the raidhelmet this afternoon... :(. ) so I deleted a char and gonna re lvl back yo 31 so I can maybe get a helm this week xD but I agree with OP, some headsup would have been nice. Or just reset the weekly progress on the raid, but that might have been a bit extreme?

This is hilarious Maybe this a wake up call to not plan your life around destiny and smash everything out in the first 10 mins of the reset, saying that if you "hardcore gamers" didn't do this then you wouldn't have time to moan on the forums and this entertain me :-) There's always next week dudes #endoftheworldcosididntgetmynewhelmet
