As long as you have fun, it isnt a waste. Its like drinking a 6 pack. You dont stay drunk for the rest of your life. as long as you enjoy the buzz for a few hours, it wasn't wasted.
yes MMO's do that with large expansions entirely new areas, enemies, talents, MULTIPLE raids, multiple dungeons, proffesion upgrades, and whatever else real MMO's do. it's like you don't hear yourself using the word "expansion" in place of DLC destiny didn't expand a damn thing they opened what, two doors to exsisting areas made us do a couple levels backwards with new mission plots and called it expanding because they gave us new loots and rediculous new mats for them?
yeah okay go on believing that. I remember my first day as a fanboy too.
I'm not sure anyone has a problem with the new raid gear making the old gear obsolete. It is the vendor gear that instantly makes old raid gear obsolete. At least let me level my raid gear to 31 if the vendor gear is 31.
Oh no I had fun. Just didn't need to drag all 3 characters thru every week. Could have done it a couple times with my titan and warlock and left the hunter out.
400-500 hrs is not "fast as possible". Also, everybody being the same light level despite lack of skill level or time invested is not "fun". Being easily distinguished as a reward for completing raids and other high level activities is fun. So is going back and helping lowers finally make it through the VoG. Now its pointless.
