The people who have 3 of the same class to run the raid multiple times a week. Especially those who delete and power level a character to 20 to do it more than 3 times a week.
Edit: This isn't necessarily my opinion. Just seems to be the generally accepted opinion as of late on these forums. In my opinion you aren't a fake 32, but you are low life who can only experience the game 1 of 3 wonderful ways.

How do you power level a character?
-
Edited by FoxTC: 12/18/2014 11:03:41 AMI had just one Warlock for ages and decided to make a second character so I could get more stuff, I created a Hunter who is now 28 - I so wish I'd stuck with Warlocks, by now I would have two 30+ warlocks!!! I certainly don't have time to build a titan up so I'm going for my second Warlock now. Am I a "low life"? NO! I just love playing destiny at a high level and want good stuff but have to juggle having a job, a wife and 2 kids... Not getting much sleep thanks to Destiny!
-
I have 2 hunters ... So yeah.... Im a low life .. But fake? Never XD
-
2 RepliesLimiting nightfall, weeklys and raid to only once a week is the real problem
-
There's no such thing as a "fake" level. You earned the gear and that's it.
-
No such thing as fake 30s or whatever
-
Before DLC hit I had a lvl 30 of each class. Now I have 2 lvl 31 hunters, sharing armor of course. After I do the nightfall and heroic with my Titan I will hopefully level another hunter to 20. I love all 3 characters in their separate ways, but I realize I will spend way less time on this addicting game with 3 of the same class. Don't know why I picked the hunter... I don't regret it though. When destiny 2 comes out maybe I will make 3 titans!!

2 RepliesI'm almost to 31, I just need shards.

1 ReplyDon't judge OP - I've been playing all three classes since the start, but decided I just don't want to have to play as much as I have been to feel I'm accomplishing what I have been to date. I'd rather focus on one character, playing at least half the time I do now or less, and accomplishing what I want for that character. When the new DLC comes out, I'll probably stash my okay gear and start three new characters of a different class. Only need to worry about events like IB, Queen, Eris rep, Raid, etc on one character. That'll save me hours each week. That makes me a lowlife? Believe me, I can understand it seems to cheapen the experience when someone comes on here bragging about how they found work-arounds to hit 32. I'm not going to do that, mostly because I'll hardly be the first to hit a new level cap. But honestly, other than the fact they're being a bit of a dick and trying to rub it in, does it really bother anyone?

Ive grinded all classes..prefer warlocks and i like getting rewards multiple times. Seems logical to make multiples of a class if u dont like the others lol
-
Players wouldn't need to do this if Bungie would get rid of the dumb raid limit!

Edited by xSnakeSlayerx: 12/17/2014 8:27:19 PMI have 3 warlocks, and only need 12 more shards. Let it be known, I also work 53hrs a week, and have a girlfriend, who is also equally busy. I have made a titan and hated it, and my good buddy is a hunter, so instead of rolling 2 hunters in a warlock. Don't jump to conclusions because people are levelling quicker then you are, it's jealousy, an it's ugly. Edit: I have time to level my warlock with 2 reserves, however, I don't have time to get three seperate characters to 32, that's 189 shards, I don't have time for that.

A 32 is a 32. Just stop. Please. Please just stop.

3 RepliesReason for having the same 3 class.... 1. Unless you have all the time in the world leveling up and keeping 3 different classes up to par+ is very difficult to do. 2. Having 3 of the same classes means you can share between all 3, meaning I would only need to spend 1/3 of the time but still get the same amount of rewards to accomplish 3. I love the play style of a warlock. 4. I tried starting a titan.... And in conclusion the RNG system is too random and not awarding enough for me to grind that extra time which i do not even have specially during the holiday. One day I will attempt to create a different faction, but for now 3 of the same (which I've mastered to play with) works fine.

You are not fake, but you are a lowlife. Double standard much.
-
I run 1 of each character but don't judge those who do 3 of the same. I personally feel they are missing out. I started with a warlock just because I did a Titan on beta. After making all 3, I didn't care for the hunter and now it might be my favorite character. I really have a hard time deciding which one I like best. I think they did a great job of making them all have strengths and weaknesses. People can play the game anyway they want, I don't know why people are so concerned with how others choose to play the game? How does if affect you? I personally get more satisfaction from getting all to 30(vog)/32(tdb)but to each their own. Like I said, I don't worry about others but that's the problem, too many people worried about others instead of their own business (especially when it doesn't affect you at all)

5 RepliesI don't understand the point of having 3 of the same characters. One of each class is the way to go
-
Who the -blam!- are to judge people on how the choose to play?!? A lowlife really?!? Sounds to me like your just a judgemental -blam!- stain if you ask me...
-
3 RepliesI'm having trouble comprehending this mentality that allows people to possess such distaste for others not playing the game as they do. Are people really so petty as to possess a lowly opinion of those utilising methods that allow them to get their desired gear before others? I really don't comprehend that ideology unless it is considered to be cheating. If it is considered cheating, then I must say that you have one hell of a warped perception of cheating.

I have 3 characters, all different; wouldn't dare delete one of my characters just to run it again. Sweaty as -blam!-
-
Low life?
-
I have 3 but i definitely dont delete my characters and make new ones to the raid again, im not that desperate.
-
I have 3 hunters, I've had a Titan and a warlock and both classes were boring as -blam!-kk to me, got them to 30 but I never played them, so made 2 more hunters for extra loot for the class I actually enjoy playing.
-
I have one character. I play these games to get lost in another world. That was a problem from the start. The story did not bring me into the game. What story? Why would I want to do it again? Different perks? Even the factions, no back story? No faction based missions? Just go grind rep? No. I stick to my one Hunter. I do my daily grind then go play DAI. I have the pass. So I'm in this till its up and I reach the cap. I had been at 29.5 for the last two weeks before the DLC. I bought all the new DLC gear. Except for my helmet. Achloephage Symbiot? It's new. Won it in the first DLC nightfall. So I'm at 31.25. I plan on raiding with my clan/friends. My gear is good, I want better weapons first. Your low life comment is a bit harsh. We all play our game. We play differently. I am in no rush to get the best of the best. Some are. You need to see this, understand this.

4 RepliesConsidering it takes 63 shards to upgrade your gear. With a total maximum of 10 shards per run (counting the shrieker chest) if you got nothing but shards for 6 weeks you still wouldn't have enough to upgrade your gear. please let me know if I'm wrong on the shard count. 2 possible per loot drop. I actually deleted my 30 Titan(both subs maxed) to make another hunter.
-
2 RepliesI don't do that because I don't have the time, but I can't say I condemn those that do. They want to be 32. they have the time/patience to do it quickly. So what.
