Who here thinks the glimmer cap should be higher a simple +1 or -1 will do thanks guys!

1 ReplyI got the upgrade for 9 exotics and maxed out a few of them on Friday. So yeah, I want a higher cap. Heres the thing, the cap in itself is low but when you take into consideration that you can evade it, by saving those 200 glimmer triange drops, its just stupid.

It's MMO 101 (and yes, I know this isn't really an MMO, but you do certainly grind a lot).

5 RepliesI find it ridiculous that they even capped glimmer when the only thing we can really spend it on is ammo synthesis. Then theres the weekly caps for Srikes and the Crucible. Wheres the damn harm in letting players just save up there marks and glimmer? Especiall now since vanguard and crucible armor and weapons usually take a commendation which we can only get by ranking up the faction.

Edited by Gizardpuke999: 12/14/2014 9:33:22 PM+1 its like the caps are deliberately designed to nobble player progression. which is all but pointless given how long it takes to get to the new level caps anyway. its like bungie have said, "it only takes a week to cap out player levels. so lets slow things down by capping the important currencies". as far as the vanguard marks go, there is nothing i want to spend them on. so its pointless gaining them. i get all my items from raids, and all my experience from bounties. so the strikes are all but pointless. i might do 1 or 2 a month depending on if an item needs an upgrade, and i've run out of bounties for the day.

I upgraded 4 exotics yesterday so I went through around 30,000. Yeah, the cap needs raised or the cost of things lowered.

Some devs at Bungie said that they were thinking about raising the glimmer cap and the amount of vault space. This was said in one of their more recent podcast interviews I believe.

Can anyone lend me any glimmer till payday! Since Iron Banner I have been glimmer poor. I remember days when I would spend 15000 in seconds to level up my cryptarch by 100 rep rather than go and do another strike for engrams. If we get the opportunity to trade in weapon parts or plasteel plating though I'm taking everyone for drinks at the club by Dead Orbit
