thorn is overpowered as hell
it kills in 3 shots, what the hell is that bullshit, some guy was able to kill me before my fusion rifle even finished charging, it needed a buff but not that much of a buff

Devil you know is the vanguard legendary, has 12 rounds and I one shot kill with it all the time. I do love my thorn though.

1 Replyhand cannons are 3 shot kill anyway, not just the thorn. and i think u deserve to get killed if ur using a fusion rifle as a primary weapon, u suck more.

If thorn truly is op, then I would of had no trouble killing a guy who had lord high fixer, but no, it's not the weapon, it's how you use it.

Hand cannons have a high learning curve in pve and pvp alike. They are some of the most rewarding weapons to use but very unforgiving in the hands of the wrong user. Most people who pwn in the crucible with a hand cannon have worked at building their skill with one for a long time. Furthermore, pvp noobs stick to assault rifles(suros regime). I understand that the Thorn is powerful, but few would call it overpowered. The chances of you meeting a skillled player with thorn are slim. Out of all the players I've met in the crucible who wield Thorn, only one has really posed a challenge. Yes I died over and over, but he earned those kills.

What is about buff all fusion rifles? Delete the charging time- so you can shot as fast as an automatic rifle, kill instant like a rocket launcher, on a distance of a scout rifle. No Thorn user would harm u anymore!!! I'm sure you would still suck... :).

6 RepliesI know this weapon might be a THORN in your side, but it is kinda more of a POKE gun unless you have good aim, I know it might sound like i'm a PRICK for saying this but a good counter for a quick firing gun like the thorn would be something that can outrange it, of course all of this might be missing the POINT of your post. ...I'll show myself out for all those puns.

I'm glad they killed you before you could charge it up. I do that many a times without Thorn, so I believe you're just looking for an excuse for your death.

If you land two headshots the dot damage will finish them off.
