Didn't Deej say Xur would not disappoint this weekend?
Anyone else disappointed? Thought he'd have Gjallarhorn or maybe a new exotic but he has truth for the 3rd time and his other stuff is not exciting either. The upgrades were more or less expected. Didn't Deej say that this weekend, in particular, was going to make everyone happy (as opposed to the 2 weeks of plan c in as row)? Normally I don't complain but seems like a big let-down after a big build-up?

I don't think he said that. He did say something to the effect that Xur's inventory would be more powerful this week, which is true.

3 RepliesI wouldn't have been TOTALY disappointed if I could have bought the new exotic arms. But apparently I have to put 20 bucks for them, no thanks bungie. $60 is enough for an unfinished game

He never said it would make everyone happy. First, that's impossible. There are plenty of people who have Gjallahorn and if he'd sell it, they wouldn't be happy. Second, he said Xur would have a more POWERFUL inventory, not one that will make everyone happy. And by more powerful he means you can upgrade your gear.

Yup ended up just buying a bunch of exotic shards to upgrade my gear. Didn't even bother with anything else.

I was okay with what he had, got Ruin Wings for my Titan and Light Beyond Nemesis for my Warlock plus an upgraded icebreaker.

2 RepliesI thought he had some sweet stuff. Surros, IceBreaker, and Thron seem to be some of the most popular weapons around and people can upgrade them. I can see where others might be bummed though.

He didn't I bought 2 helm engrams that turned into Achlophage Symbiote and Obsidian Mind I also bought Ruin Wings Traded in Ice Breaker and will soon do Red Death and my No Backup Plans. I am far from disappointed. Maybe next week though.
