Didn't Deej say Xur would not disappoint this weekend?
Anyone else disappointed? Thought he'd have Gjallarhorn or maybe a new exotic but he has truth for the 3rd time and his other stuff is not exciting either. The upgrades were more or less expected. Didn't Deej say that this weekend, in particular, was going to make everyone happy (as opposed to the 2 weeks of plan c in as row)? Normally I don't complain but seems like a big let-down after a big build-up?

He should've said Titan's wouldn't be disappointed. I love my new Ruin Wings. Now I have too much heavy ammo. I found myself using my heavy more than my primary now.

I'm thinking that by "not disappoint" he either meant that Xur sells the urn which leads to gloves (believe it or not, even though I already have gloves, I was jumping for joy when I got those since it gave me more Scout Rifle ammo.) He could also be meaning that xur is selling Thorn and Icebreaker upgrades (both of which are loved by various members of the community).

I was happy with his items, he had my favorite chest plate to upgrade, I had all the guns and he had new gauntlets for titans. Perfect for me!

Got three exotic engrams. Got new hunter and Titan helm and the same exotic helm I had for warlock so don't have to reforge. Also upgraded ice breaker thunderlord thorn and suros. And replaced my truth with the new one. I don't get why this week was bad? It was great

I was excited that I could upgrade a few things and then looked at the stock...still disappointed.

1 ReplyNot disappointed at all. Bought that hunter helm, got three exotic engrams and got a warlock and Titan helm(glassdoor too so that's a plus) and now my characters can all reach 31. Upgraded my suros and thorn. I got a new Thunderlord in nightfall and a new last word in the new raid so I lucked out all week. This is actually one of the best weeks I've ever had.

The only thing I am disappointed about is how many times he sells the fusion rifle telemetries. Get rid of those garbage sparrow coils and sell more telemetries, I need sniper rifle telemetries. I make sure to have about two stacks of each telemetry he sells per character.

He didn't disappoint me. I was still one strange coin from being able to buy whatever high end exotic weapon he had. Gives me another week to build up my coins.

I wasn't disappointed at all. Upgrade my ice breaker, Suros and armarmenwhatever, bought hunter helm, bought ruin wings, and 2 helm engrams. Best Xur run in forever

Got to upgrade several of the best exotics. I ain't disappointed, Suros Regime, Thorn and The Last Word are probably top of the primary weapon chain excluding the Vex Myth. Hard to upgrade so many at once with then glimmer costs though

Got an engram, turned into Glass House. Got Truth, which ought to hold me over until I get Gjallarhorn. Once I get 5 more coins, I'll pick up Symbiote. I wasn't disappointed.

Would've been perfect if Xür sold hard light and praxic fire, but I'm happy with the titan and the hunter exotics :3

Found him useful this week. Got my upgraded IB, achlyophage helm and ahramkara helm (from engram).

Personally I think the only way it could've been better is if he had the unremarkable bones hunter exotic. I got my red death and ice breaker upgraded, plus a new achlyophage symbiote helmet. Xur had a beautiful first week post-DLC. I don't really care what he has in the weeks to come, I'll have my red death for iron banner next week and it'll be unfair as all hell.

1 ReplyI was happy. I wanted to upgrade my Helm of Inmost Light, but unfortunately Xur wasn't offering it. I bought two engrams, hoping for at least a Titan helmet, but received Knucklehead Radar and the warlock helmet with wings. It took nearly a day to catch up with more motes, but I got 23 and rolled once more. Got exactly what I wanted.
