Who is this marionmayberry dude?!

I kept getting this error from time to time. I've noticed it usually happens right when I power up my PS4 and attempt to log in. After being rejected and sent back to the title screen, I am able to log back in with no problems. Thx Edit: Just tried to log in and I was successful. Though I get a "Expansion Required". (Bought both DLCs and entered the code on the playstation network) I've been playing expansion but the game always starts in these steps. Now I must log out again, and then close Destiny, then load Destiny again, log back in to activate the expansion. So now I've logged in (3x) and out (2x) and I am logging in for a third turn. Log in: marionmayberry error Log out: Log in: "expansion required" for dlc, though I have the code and have played the expansion a few times already. Close Destiny: Totally end the Destiny game. Start backup: I have to start Destiny back up. Log in: after logging in/out a couple, and once totally. I am able to play. Just letting you know the new problems I'm encountering. I know I'm not alone. Or am I?!

  • To resolve this issue please do the following: Log off of Destiny Turn off your PlayStation or Xbox console Power-cycle your networking hardware (router, modem, etc.) by turning each item off, then waiting 30 seconds before turning them back on one by one, beginning with your modem Once your home network is back up, turn on your PlayStation or Xbox console and relaunch Destiny
