I'm glad they added the armor to get past level 30 and I'm not one of those you call a casual gamer, so, I'd say I'm due for a break from this game, and the new armor is just that break. Why, because I don't play the Crucible or Raid as much as I'd like, hell I haven't finished a Raid yet. So, for my money, the upgraded armor and weapons will add new life to this game that had gotten stale for me, and alot of others by the tone of the posts over the past few months. And yes, I did bust my ass to get to level 29, no different than you busting your's to get to level 30, its all in the luck of the RNG. I hear what you're saying, but alot of people are tired of all level 30's crying about their being entitled or something, or are somehow superior to lesser levels. Its no huge badge of honor getting to level 30. It's another level in a game that will keep getting a level increase with each DLC and new version that comes out. Don't let this be what pulls you away from Destiny. I'm sure once you think about it and see what the DLC has to offer you'll change your mind. I had the initial "OMG WTF have they done", but after 2 hours into the DLC I'm quite content and happy with the end result. Cheers

The DLC bumped up the maximum light level in the game, OF COURSE the old gear is going to become lower level. That's what the new Raid is for. Also you're complaining about what other players get or don't get from the game. That rubs people (including myself) the wrong way, and makes you look pathetic. Finally, your argument isn't correct: All of the high-level activities (Raid included, at this point) are max level 30 — that's what your VoG gear gets you to! You're perfectly fine running the weekly/nightfall/raid in that gear until you can unlock the higher-level gear from vendors and/or the new Raid. I ran the daily heroic yesterday on level 30 with a level 27 and had NO ISSUES at all. So give me a break with this "my raid gear is irrelevant" bullsh*t. It's not, you're just upset that more players will be on the same level as you. And like I said, that's pathetic.

Just play you will get better gear. level up vanguard and criptard. My buddy already got 2 armor that is better than his level 30 raid gear from just that. So if you took the time to have fun as you say you would get the level 31. The first thing people do is crap there pants and scream like a little baby without knowing anything about it at all. Grow up people.

Its the same as b4, you can buy gear to.hit 29 but need raid gear to.hit 30 Same concept except now its 31/and 32 I mean seriously its just a game, and anyone that gets on this forum or another and Cry's about it needs to just take a good long look at what there life means lol js
