2 RepliesApparently you have never played an mmo in your life. I know this game isn't an mmo, but it has mmo qualities about it. This new dlc abyss) acts just like other mmos. You have raided long and got the best gear out there. Now you feel angry because other people can get to the same level as you and higher without touching the raid. Deal with it. It'll happen again in the next dlc. That's the life of a raider. One minute you have the best of the best gear and the next you don't anymore. But this is only temporary. When hard mode comes out the people who don't raid will be stuck at 31 with ok weapons. Whereas, with you maybe, you'll be able to hit 32 and have way better weapons. Moral of the story is, stop bitching or leave the game.

2 RepliesI'm personally a bit tired of looking at my raid gear but if the new faction gear was only level 30 I wouldn't bother getting it. I'm perfectly happy to buy this new gear as it will give me an advantage in the new raid (something lvl 30 gear wouldn't). That makes it more enjoyable whilst I steadily unlock the level 32 gear etc. I just wish I hadn't spent all my faction marks on materials! (Anyone else do this? haha) I'm still at work but can't wait to get home and try it out! I've never played an MMO so this level class / rng is new to me. I care more about having fun and being challenged by the game. (I just happened to be 30 because I enjoy playing the raid) Hopefully I've changed your perception little bit? I'm excited that I have new content to play for a game I'm really enjoying at the moment. Respect for running an animal sanctuary, you're obviously a good person to be doing that. Just ignore the negative comments!

Vanguard armor got you one level below the cap before, and it does now too. Nothing has changed. Shut up.

If Destiny is a ten year plan, it should a) reset to keep people interested but b) give the level 30s a perk such a sick exotic to began next phase. I was only 29 3/4th but feel if you were skilled, persistent or lucky enough to be 30, it would have been cool to receive a surprise Christmas gift in the mail. IMHO

I have bad luck with raid drops...so this vendor 31s is a godsend.

You can't have Lvl 31 be an exclusive club because you were fortunate enough to beat the raid AND get good drops. This gives everyone a fair shake at the new raid and players who haven't bought the expansion a fair shot at VoG hard mode.

Old raid gear still has better perks though. I shall use this until I get new raid gear. Poor warlock needs some gloves though, it's chilly out there if you're only 29.

I fully agree one day I'm looking at my 30 titan hunter and warlock full raid gear thinking sweet I'm finally ready for the next raid... then ohh wait you can just buy your lvl31 now ohh ok so... I'll just wait till the last raid and just buy my stuff then lol

1 ReplyI would have been okay with allowing them to hit level 30 but 31? Everybody else's raid armor just got shit on. I get that I got it by RNG so please spare me and I'm not that guy to say I earned mine because it was all luck however, I can't get that they would allow people to buy gear to hit level 31.

4 Replies32 is the new 30. 31 is the new 29. Are you saying no one should have been able to get to 29 without LUCK in the raid? (work hard to get to level 30, heh, it's all luck dude.) Don't worry, you will still have to raid to get to 32. You can still feel better than everyone else since you got lucky and made it to 30. And now you can feel better than everyone else if you get lucky and get to 32. All I can say is good luck.
