if you bought tower gear (lvl 31)
Idc. You got you gear the way you wanted to/ is more convenient to yourself. I will welcome anyone to a raid group as long as you are on reasonable lvl. I'm not gonna bully someone based on how they got there gear.
Some people need to get there heads out of there asses and grow up. Seriously.

22 RepliesThe funny thing about the "fake" level 30 or 31s is that it's all fake because it's a damn video game. I think that and the "I earned my exotic" douchetards are the worst. I earned the $60 to buy this game, so I will get my exotics and armor and light level and whatever the hell else however the hell I want to.

2 RepliesIf you can afford the tower gear, then you obviously put the time in to earn the marks and commendations necessary to purchase and level them. Either way, raid or tower it's a grind and you EARNED the level.

I'm buying my vanguard gear later to push me to 31 to make the raid easier and to get the raid gear, I don't see the problem

6 RepliesPeople are complaining about getting level 31 gears from vendors? I don't understand the logic. Before it was 29 with vendor gear, 30 with raid gear. Now it's 31 with vendor gears, 32 with raid gear. These people have to literally be clinically insane.

I'm glad they made it an option, I never have to to play VOG or Crotas end. It's nice to see good posts, they're still are good people out there!!

The Hive are all strength in numbers and are in my opinion the most deadly (because primarily of the wizards and enemies that hold bomb radius weaponry and close combat by far) the addition to story mode received a step in the right direction. It was more clear that the Hive attempted to take earth and the guardians are to keep their armies from forming on earth. level 30 available missions. This is very different and more difficult to solo. Which to me is a good thing.

Exactly mate. I have full vog raid gear and if I want to have higher ranked armor why not lol that way you can mix and match for ammo abilities or intellect etc, its jus being smart

8 RepliesI got lucky and got the raid chest and gloves just need a helmet or boots. Idk what exotic to use though. You deff need one level 31 to beat crota cause u do more DMG with the sword. Idk why people get so butt hurt its just a game lol.

Are people really complaining about this? I see no point in keeping the old raid gear if it doesn't take me to level 31. The best way in my opinion to go about it would be to get to level 31(to make the new raid more manageable) get the new raid gear, then hit 32 with that. I don't judge people if they're using Vanguard gear, but I will judge you on whether or not your weapons are maxed. If your level 31 rocking more than one weapon that isn't maxed - BYE! We're are already at a disadvantage with the level difference, don't need to add your un-maxed weapons to the problem.

2 RepliesConsidering you can't hit 31 unless you buy tower gear (or get super lucky like my level 25 Warlock did, instant 31 just from drops while playing my hunter) then I don't see what the issue is. You can't beat the raid without a 31 which means you or somebody in your party had to buy gear.

2 RepliesAs I commented below, I have 3 full sets of VoG raid gear and I couldn't careless if they are obsolete. I will be using all faction gear to get to 31 even though I already have some raid gear. It's worth it to not be using an exotic until I can upgrade it for Xur. Plus at 31 you stand a much better chance defeating Crota. He certainly isn't going to laugh at you because you're wearing mismatched faction gear. So I'll gladly hit 31 tonight wearing 0 exotics and 0 of my old raid gear.

Unless people run the raid only to get to 32 everyone has to buy at least one armor piece to get to 31
