Inactive players in Vanguard Tiger Strikes. Getting too much to bear.
Not for the first time I've just finished a Vanguard Tiger strike with some absolute cnt who will stand and wait for the other 2 of us to clear each section, then follow along afterwards and wait outside the next section til we clear it. The strike took about 25 minutes when it would have taken 10 or less with the 3 of us playing properly. So what's the point? What benefit is there? It's a false economy, drawing a strike out so that you don't have to put any effort it. It's the action of a retard.
I just stood there for 30 seconds punching him and shooting him with The Vex Mythoclast once the boss died. He was dancing, so he clearly knew how much of a nob he was being and reveled in it.
All I can think is that they are doing it to easily earn the 'Finish a srike without dying bounty'
Well i just got that bounty with just the two of us. So if you suck that much that you can't get it without inacivity throughout the whole strike then you don't deserve to play. Infact you deserve to die, for being so shite at a game. fking Amateurs.
Hope they never put matchmaking on the Raid and I hope they remove matchmaking from everything except the multi.
Having said that, doing it all via Destiny LFG the same thing can happen. The other day I was in a Raid and somebody quit a team of level 30's after the first chest. There is too much focus on Co op. Bungie, get to work on some AI bots. This is the issue that'll eventually stop me playing if it's not sorted.

I like the bots idea, and why couldn't they do it? You can choose to do matchmaking or solo, and the solo you can have bots or by yourself. Awesome.

2 RepliesI just push people off the edge with my sparrow. Then revive them so it looks like they were just sitting there. When it's over they don't get the bounty and they've wasted their time, not mine.

Yesterday me and my buddy were running strikes cause I've got the bad juju bounty in my pocket. We got the nexus, and the random we got was a 30 which I didn't mind at all, woohoo damage output. We get to the first part where you've got to kill the servitors and me and my friend are running and gunning and then all of a sudden I notice he's not with us anymore. So I knew this guy jumped through the window and rushed through the rest of the level. He stood around for a while before killing things, possibly killing things to make us think he was contributing. I told my friend to leave one servitor and we both hopped through the window and sure enough he ran all the way to the end of the level and was camping where the nexus is in the ceiling. We hop down and start teabagging the ground and such and he eventually sends a message to us saying, "looks like we're screwed now lol" So me, my friend and this random just sat around doing nothing until I gave him the okay to leave. I hate when people go afk during strikes. I hate when people rush a head like that too, really grinds my gears. I know the simple solution was to just leave once he skipped ahead so he'd be forced to leave but u wanted to share.

17 RepliesI've said in numerous post mate! Optional matchmaking across the board! So u can solo tigers by choice or join a raid team assembled by matchmaking! Optional matchmaking applied to all aspects of the game would let everyone be accommodated for.

1 ReplyI play tiger strikes allll the time and I don't have a problem with this. When you see someone asking, leave the game and re-load the playlist. It takes 20 seconds to do, and if everyone did this, people wouldn't try to afk leech anymore.

1 ReplySome of these solutions are worse than the original issue. If someone is doing AFK then leave and come back into another strike.

those people aren't just after the bounties they are just easy farming mark/rep. certainly @work with a ps vita just to launch the strike and then go afk..

I played tiger strikes yesterday for most of the day, and I have to say, 9 out of 10 strikes I did, one person would go afk. There were very few instances were 3 people finished strike. Sad really.

I never, ever go AFC on strikes but I'd have to say that griefers are on the rise. Just as we were starting a strike, I get sparrow killed for no reason at all! Next strike, another player simply tried to sparrow kill the other fireteam member. What gives? And I take my deaths pretty seriously. That said, if I ever see an attempt on unwarranted sparrow killing, I'll simply leave the game. I don't think reporting will do anything.

2 RepliesI doubt whoever I was playing with will read this but I would just like to apologise as it may have seemed like I was doing this last night, was running tiger strikes with my Titan, joined 1 person on the devils lair strike at the walker tank and I kept falling asleep... After maybe 20 minutes of waking up, realising I had fallen asleep and was staring at the sky, shoot walker a few times, fall asleep and repeat I left. Hope I didn't get reported for being too stoned and tired to physically play lol!

4 RepliesI remember this one guy who was hanging inactive. I pushed him off a cliff about 10 minutes in. He messaged me saying something like "wtf nub I'm doing the bounty" bla bla. A few minutes later I rolled another strike and guess who shows up on the team. He stands there (Venus I believe) spinning and aiming. Felt so good to push him off again.

( if you die "alone" in a darkness zone it forces the other players to respawn where you are ) They get a death and you get some good laughs and if they leave you get a new teamate lol i had a guy keep punching one time after he pulled a similar stunt all i did was crouch repeatedly and point. A lesson for players that do this. I can be a bigger troll then you lololol

i fully agree with you.... but what about these usain bolt guardians who are running to the endzone like hell and don't care about the other team members ???? when i am doing a strike raid or whatever i WAIT or help the other guardians, it's a team effort. Yesterday i did a strike with 2 lvl 30's on mars and they didn't care about me.... only the endzone....wtf. I was stuck half way.... i saw them far away leaving the time i was arriving by the land tank Reviving ???? what's that ??/ the time i arrived at the endzone there was not much left to do and when we kill him have the nerve to keep shooting at me and directly sending me a mail: why are you hidding // you suck at this game... my first reaction.... yeah i suck but not as good as your mother did last week. Just keep in mind that not everybody is as fast and stick together. at the other hand there ar a lot of guardians that wait for each other and i have a lot of fun with. I regardly thank by raising my hand. Ohh and for the trollss...........my english sucks to.. i now :) :) :)

I hate the randoms that just jump past the, i know they wanna speed run but it stirs all the shit and when ya step into to room its blam ya dead cause all the mobs have been agro'd.

Anytime this happens I just report them once or twice and they'll be removed from the game before the end! Most of the time it'll put someone in the game who is more helpful!

Report and block them every time u find someone pulling this crap and u won't have to play with them anymore

It doesn't bother me anymore most of the time I finish a strike just as fast without there help. Been running my titan thro strikes and cant believe how easy it is now.

When i have person in my Strike that just sits there doing nothing, i sit down myself right in front of him and go afk , having a poop or making a coffee :P. that works most of the time :D

I haven't experienced it but I think it is dumb. There is never a good excuse to afk in a strike unless someone is dying in your house maybe. Otherwise it is a scum bag jerk off move period.
